Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with unplug the unit and plug it back after 10-15 minutes. While it’s unplugged check the door switch/latch assembly. If everything appears to be working fine then check the control panel as it might have gone bad, before replacing the control board you can also try to blow air with the help of hair dryer. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Now whether this questions category that this question is in is the right category or not but my kenwood k30css14 when I close the door after opening the door during the cycle it Dosen't continue

These new ones don't like to be interrupted! have you tried restarting cycle, if so try restarting cycle, with cycle in the on position, turn timer from beginning to end till clicks open door, close, restart cycle. hope this helps. Try unplugging re plug with timer in off position, end cycle first !

It keeps starting at the beginning of a cycle, won't finish, and can't open the door

1) YOU MUST test the TIMER for defective, test the contacts dirty, or oxide.Loose wire, or open or break.
see the diagram
2)see if the screen is clogged+ test the defective water inlet valve see how to test.

Door won't open and is jammed.

We have an electronic Sears front load model with which that happened. . If this is a Sears machine contact the service number located in your manual and they should be able to talk you through it. For us it ended up being a door switch that had become misaligned. Make sure the machine spins the water out of the tub before you try to open the door if it is a front loader.

I pushed the 'pause' button during the wash cycle of my LG WD-3274HD and now the door won't open.

Hi!

The machine knows it dint't finish the washing cycle, and, because it may be possible that water is still a lot inside, the door is locked.
If you are shure the door can be opened without the water coming out by the door, simply disconnect it from the electrical supply and wait a few minutes until the door unlocks. (you will hear the unlock click)

Good luck!

All cycles are working except the spin cycle. I have visually inspected the wiring connections and motor and dont see any obvious issues. There are no error codes and the LED lights seem to be functioning...

Because of the high spin speeds of front load washers, the doors are equipped with a latch and lock mechanism to prevent the door from being opened during the washers operation. These locks will often be actuated by a solenoid or wax motor to ensure they remain latched during the wash cycle. This model uses a two stage lock that latches the door when the load starts, and then when it is time to spin, the second lock engages to ensure the door is properly secured prior to beginning the spin. When this second lock engages, it also closes a set of switch contacts (the auxiliary door switch) telling the control board the door is closed and locked. If for some reason this switch is not closed, the washer will tumble during what would normally be the spin cycle until the entire cycle is complete.

Turn the dial to off position wait few second, door should unlock. Unless you try to open it during cycle, it won't open. Otherwise, follow owner manual. call the manufacture.

you did not mention the type of machine but for top loader the most probable cause of your issue is the door /lid switch that is in need of adjustment as most top loaders will fill with the lid open but cycle cant start or continue when the wash thinks the door is open this is a safety feature

Whirlpool Washing Machine Quitting during rinse cycle

I would say that based on your problem description that the lid /door switch has a loose or faulty contact .. If you open and close it a few times..it starts to spin and yet when you open it.. it doesn't always stop the spinning.. It is either the switch or the actuator that bumps that switch.. That is where I would begin diagnosing the problem... Hope that helps..

GE Model WBSE2090A2WW - shut off intermittenly

Does the machine drain on its own or do you drain it manually? The drain pump may be jammed or seized. Try giving the door a light bang with your hand on the handle. The door interlock could be faulty. If the machine starts up after you hit it with your hand on the door handle, the interlock is faulty. Good Luck!!
