Frig is a top ffreezer. the freezer stays very cold but bottom has no circulation.

fAN MOTOR MAY NEED REPLACED. THE EASIEST WAY IS TO TAKE OFF THE BACK PANEL IN FREEZER AND REMOVE THE FAN
MOTOR, TAKE IT TO THE NEAREST APPLIANCE PARTS STORE WITH YOUR MODEL NO.

WATER SPLASHING IN FREEZER AT ICEMAKER
THE FILL TUBE IN BACK OF REFRIGERATOR CAN SLIP
AGAINST THE FILL RESERVOIR CAUSING A PARTIAL BLOCKAGE
OR BECOME CLOGGED WITH ICE.
REMOVE THE ICEMAKER AND INSPECT THE FILL TUBE.
RUN WATER IN TUBE TO ELININATE BLOCKAGE AND CHECK
TEMP IN FREEZER. IF TEMP IS BELOW 0 DEGREES, THATS
OVERKILL AND USUALLY A WASTE OF ELECTRICITY TO KEEP IT THAT COLD, NOT TO MENTION THE FILL TUBE FREEZING UP

We have a Kenmore 20 frostless side by side refrig. It was in the home we recently purchased. When I open the refrig side the door makes a thumping sound at about 3/4 of the way to fully open. It feels...

there is a door cam on the bottom of the door, you have to take the door off to repair it,it's pretty easy to do,if you send model number i could have looked it up for you and gave part number, model number will be inside fridge side up near ceiling or down near the bottom hindge, you will need this to order your part, good luck with door,if the light is staying on take bulb out so the fridge doesn't heat up

GE side by side ffreezer continues to frost over

A simple defrost may not be all that is needed. There is a piece that connects to the coils called a defrost timer or a " clixon " This is most likely the problem. Have it replaced and that should get you back in business. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Our water line is black, but the back line from teh wall is clear

no need to undo the door to replace this line, youll need to re-order a new line( it comes as a predetermined lentgh with a spout attached at end, ther is a quick disconnect under the ffreezer door and it simply pushes through fromt the spout end followin a premade opening in the door,

Ice forming where ice comes out to refrigerator

I am not sure if this is the same issue or not.  the flap that closes after you have dispensed ice does not close or seal all the way.  The gasket is worn down. the result is warm air get up into icemaker and warms ice and refreezes in one block so now the dispenser gets blocked.  We had to replace the flap in the door.  bought the part at an appliance part  store (not sears) they were helpfull and looked up the part needed.  Also a sheet of ice forms on the  bottom of the freezer.  When water is dispensed a small bit drips inside freezer in back and runs down to botom of freezer slowly forming a sheet of ice.  Use a hair dryer to defrost and then you must unclog the drain in the back at the bottom of ffreezer to allow it to drian.  Once we finally unclogged the drain we have not had any problems for about 2 years.
