I just got off the phone with a tech at Bushnell Canada and they say it stands for Low Battery.
Perhaps worth noting that they suggest using a high quality alkaline battery as opposed to an heavy duty battery.
Also...I wonder how many people use 9volt batteries anymore...and how long the ones we're buying have been sitting on the shelf...ya know?
