Take the back cover off the motor and use a wrench as a back up. it is located at the tip end of the shaft that goes straight through the motor. Hold it tight and screw on the impeller.

try placing a couple of wraps of friction tape around the impeller body and use the Channellock pliers so you can grip it without damage.

This can be caused by a number of things most commonly failed headgaskets. You can use a cooling system pressure tester to pressurize the cooling system to see if it holds pressure if not then the headgaskets are likely leaking. You can also get a chemical tester to check for exahust gas in the coolant, if exhaust gas is present then replace the headgaskts. If both tests turn out fine first make sure your cooling fans are working if so remove your thermostat to see if engine stays cool, if so replace thermostat. If nothing works up to this point you may have a broken water pump or clogged radiator. You can use a laser temperature gun to check for hot/cold spots on the radiator if you find any replace. Otherwise remove the water pump to make sure the plastic impeller is not boke and still attatched to the shaft.

Getting power to attatchment?

There has been a recall on the hose, wand, and power nozzle. Mine just caught fire! Burned a whole in my carpet. I'd contact their customer service department and find out if yours is on the recall list.

Don't know how to attach the vacume

The discharge tube and collector bag will replace the blower nozel ( where the air comes out when blowing). The large diameter tube ( pick up tube) will attatch to the impeller side. There is a plastic gaurd on a spring loaded hinge. Open the gaurd and attatch the large tube.

Selonghi pinguino super pac 26 works fine for about 20 min the turns off with the warning light that is the same as the power light flashing. How can this be fixed as apart from that it is fine. I did...

I had the same problem. Except it only lasted 10mins. It turned out that the water pump was not moving enough (any actually) water to cool down the heat exchange unit. The unit turns off if it overheats. I pulled the back off and realised that the water resevoir container was full of lime & calcium scale. Some of that had obviously got into the impeller blade in the water pump. I removed the water pump & hose and discovered a lot of hard crud in there. Cleaned it out, reassembled and hey presto the water was flowing agin and the heat exchanger was happy. Problem Soved. Anthony

Changing starter in 1997 Dodge Ram 1500

-disconnect neg batt cable from battery
-disconnect wiring from starter motor solenoid
-remove mounting bolts with socket wrench and proper size socket (metric)

-mount new starter and re-attatch mounting bolts
-re-attatch wiring to starter solenoid
-reconnect neg batt cable to battery

-it is helpful to label the wiring connected to the starter solenoid before you remove them which can be done with tape wrapped around each wire and marked with a pen. this will help ensure wires are connected to the right terminal when you install new starter. also when you have detatched the starter, compare it to your new one to see if wiring configuration is the same. if it is different, it maybe to your advantage to call the auto parts store/salvage yard where you purchased the new/reman. starter and verify with the parts person that the starter they sold you is the right one for your truck. more than once the part i bought was the wrong one because the parts person entered wrong information into their computer. you can eliminate this hassle by telling them as much info about your truck as possible.

REPAIRING A BISSEL GREEN MACHINE, REPLACING PUMP. DON'T KNOWWHICH WIRES GO WHERE ON PUMP

hi

if theres only three wires , green, black and white then the green wire is a ground which goes to an exposed metal exterior screw on the pump. It doesent matter which way the black and white go, it will work either way but if when you try to attatch the connectors theyre harder to attatch one than the other then switch it to the most easier way to attatch. Make sure to connect the green ground wire, it is very important and always try plug the shampooer into the bathroom where the ground fault plug is- its an added level of security in case theres a ground fault.
