Question about Jabra JX10 Bluetooth Headset Headset
The unit worked fine and last Monday I took it off and left it in the car overnight. In the morning it would not turn on. I figured the battery went down. I charged it till it turned green (light) and then unpluged from the charger. Held the on button and it turn blue then blinked once and no longer kept blinking. So it turned off. I tried to turn it back on and nothing happens. Tried to repeat charging a number of times and the unit turns red when I plug it in then turns green, when unplugged and you attempt to turn it on the Jabra blinks blue once and shuts off.
The unit is about 6 months old and never been dropped.

Not sure if this is a solution or if it occurred by chance. Like many on here, I put my Jabra JX10 away for a few months while not using it. The time come for me to need it once again and found that it was dead. Made an attempt to charge the unit with negative results. The unit would only show a green "charged" LED indicator as if the unit was fully charged. I tried plugging the unit into the charger multiple times, and took the cradle out of the loop and just used the AC cord alone. Still with the same results. I pulled the outside cover off (slowly), to be sure not to break the small fragile tabs that hold it in place. The battery takes up majority of the space. Removed the battery but DID NOT disconnect from unit. Plugged the charge cord into the unit and immediately got a red LED charging indicator. While charging, placed the battery back inside and put the outside cover back on. The unit continued to charge for a little over an hour before the green LED "charged" indicator came on. I used the unit throughout the day to test it with no problems. Not sure what removing the battery from unit did, especially when it was not disconnected, but it worked. I hope to see similar results.

For a while I was not able to figure out how to turn the Jabra Halo headset on. What you need to do is unfold the headset and then push the hinged portion into itself, which will lock it in place so that it will no longer hinge for the time being.

There is a way to fix this problem but i ain't easy...
The JX10 has a pretty dumb intelligent charger, it won't charge the battery when it's below a certen voltage so you have to temporarily "boost" the battery for the charger to pick up the charge process again...
You have to open the front cover of the JX10, peel out the battery and remove the tape from the battery to reveal the battery connectors.
When the silver foil plate connectors are visible you have to connect the charger and then connect 3 double A battery's (taped together or something) (total 3.5 volt) with the foil connectors for just 5 seconds. Mind the polarity! When you do this you will see after a couple of seconds the red charging light will lid! When the red light is on, disconnect your home-made "boost battery's" and the charger will charge the battery again!
It's a pretty hard job becouse of the tiny parts but is't worth the try...
And remeber to charge at least every month or you have to do this trick again!
