My dvd/vcr recorder has been working fine for over a year and now all of a sudden I can watch a dvd or vcr tape but I can't record any tv channels because its no longer seeing the tv channels all I get now is snow. I haven't changed any of the connections or anything and this just started happening. The channel indicator on the recorder is flashing and when I hit the up or down channel button it changes the channel but still no picture.

the VR3845 on a whim, at a local Costco because of the DVD/VHS combo
feature and the price. After 7 months the VR3845 suddenly wouldn't read
DVD's anymore, even ones I'd recorded the night before. The GoVideo Web
site was of no help and I'm now facing wasting hours of my time to get
a replacement or my money back, assuming I can.
"features", you can only switch recording channels at the minute. That
means you record, say 8pm to 9pm on channel 5, but you can't program
the unit to record from 9pm to 10pm on a different channel. The
programming interface will only let you start the next recording on a
new channel at 9:01PM, so you lose the first minute of your program.
the end of a programmed recording session the VR3845 automatically
shuts off. If you're watching another channel while recording, suddenly
all you see is static until you power up the VR3845 again.
Sorry Man but this thing just isn't worth it I would take it back.
Import the video on your pc using something like
