The sound card and mic is all the best true but why have my sound card cannt transffer my sound in the chat of yahoo.

1. make sure your mic is on and is working
2.from yahoo messanger proprietis go to voice&video and there start the test call
u will have a place where u can chose default mic that u use, if are more that one test them each one to see what is the working one
3. make sure the mic is not on mute from sound devices

first uninstall it from your pc.
reinstall it with offline yahoo messenger installer .

are you using a headset, or a desktop mic or the built in mic from your pc? if all those arent working, try updating your audio driver. also try to use different applications such as Skype or Yahoo messenger to check for the receiver of your pc. if one of your devices work fine, then you should replace the sound card or maybe the motherboard if its integrated to it.

to chat with ur friends u will need the foll:
WebCam, Mic, and Speakers.
Alss u will need to have either Yahoo Msgr, or MSN Mgr etc
u need to connect the Webcam using the USB port and once the Webcam is detected by your OS (i assume u use Windows) u may have to install the driver for the Webcam(the CD that came along with the Webcam will have the driver)
inster the CD in the CDR/DVD drive and let the machine install the device....once it's doen u r set

Mic and Speakers r normally Plug and Play devices and they just need to be connected to PC/Laptops sound card/Mic ports in you machine and they will automaticaly work.

click on the speaker icon in your systray tray... lower right corner of the screen... check to make sure you mic isn't muted

There is a specific download for this. Your best bet is contacting Yahoo and asking them where to find it.

there are many messanger in the web you can search and work with any other messanger . if you want to work with the yahoo messanger first thing you have to check is where you connect the mic in the port. there are three pins in the sound card in the back panel in your laptop. one is for output sound and input and mic port . if you connected it well . after you have check the sound driver software is correctly installed.

1. Right click the My computer icon and goto properties and hardware tab and in that check the all the sound and multimedia devices are installed.
2. you can reinstall the software if you have.
3. you can download from the internet by search laptop brand name.
4. then install the driver software then try it.

the sound card is to be attached to the isa slot, if working should receive its resource and work, carefully attach the sound card to the isa slot, if working sound card it will be read if not it won't then put a working sound card.

Normal 0 Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.

Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.

A. Skype Setup:

After downloading and installing Skype set it up as follows:

1. Go to TOOLS, then OPTIONS, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
2. Then click on the Video Settings.
3. The camera if installed properly will come up and show a picture.
4. Then on the bottom of the page click on Save.

The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now see and talk to you.

B. Yahoo Setup:

After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger set it up as follows:

1. Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
2. Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
3. Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
4. Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.

C. Windows Live Messenger:

1. After you start Windows Live Messenger, expand the view by clicking on the square on top left next to the red X.
2. Then on the Windows Live messenger window on the right side, click on “ “Show Menus.” And then click on “Show the Menu Bar”.
3. Next go to the Menu Bar on right side, click on “ “Action.”
4. Go to “TOOLS” and click “Audio and Video Setting” and follow the instructions.

NOTE: You audio and video should work. Enjoy.

When done both the Audio and Video will function properly so you can chat and see family or friends you are connected to.
