Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies

My hp deskjet f2280 just stopped doing anything (it will not print, copy or scan). I can't find a reason for it or a solution...

    I have uninstalled and installed the f2280 again, but it does not help. It still does not print, scan or copy...

First you need to check if the Power is Good. Check, if Cable is OK, there actually is Power, If there is good power and the machine is ON. Then you need to check your USB cable. to see if the cable is OK, Now then please try the printer unit on another PC, this will prove, the USB cable, the internal workings if it works OK. If it doesn't work, on another PC, then the printer is faulty. You will, in that case, have to get the printer repaired.
Also try disconnecting and reconnecting the Printer, reboot PC, and try to reinstall the Driver" this too may help.

Try changing the cable or the USB port.

Set the printer on another Mac to narrow down your problem.

    If you have changed the cable and tried on another USB port and another Mac unsuccessfully, your printer is faulty. Any power to the printer ?? Tried a test print from the printer - successful ?

    Check if there is Displaying any Error on Screen...Ensure Power code and Cable Plugged in Properly....


    Try Change Port.Check Scan Light is Working...Check any damages to Cables...If there is nothing working it needs manual Repair by authorized Service center...

Hello,

its a software related problem. To solve this problem, you will have to uninstall and reinstall the printer software program on your system.

Uninstall the software programs from your control panel, restart your computer and reinstall the printer software. This will certainly resolve this problem. Make sure you disconnect the printer before uninstall its software.

    Well, I am sorry but it does not work. It does not print the test page, it does not copy, it says that there is no color cartridge (not true, there is a new one in) and the computer says that no scanner is selected... boy oh boy, to think that I bought this to make my life easier!

I have got exactly the same problem. E shown. F2280 does not copy. Otherwise it prints and scan request from PC working.

HP All-in-One Can't scan without printing


There is an OCR reader in the programs included with the install disk. This OCR will break down your entire document for editing. If you don't have the disk, it very simple to get all the software from the site.

Hi,
this is a two step process first you scan the image and save it, usually you can find it under my scanned images folder, desktop, my documents, or use the search functionality to find your scanned file. For mor information about scan settings visit:

you can then just open your word, go to Insert, picture, from file and browse to previously saved scan file.

HP deskjet f2280 won't scan


you can try clicking MY COMPUTER then C: then PROGRAM FILES then Hp then Destination folder then bin then find the hpscnapp with a printer icon.Scan will work.Hp 2280 frequently encounters error especially if you're using VISTA. Hope i helped! Good day!
