You can take out the memcard and put it in to your memcard reader and use your computer to download mp3's.. and if you have software and driver of moto, just plug it in to the usb and run the soft and you can now download the mp3's

I moved the memory card from a RazrV9x to a blackberry. Had to use the BB to format the card for use with it. Now I have had to go back to the Razr. Memory card is giving me problems because it's...

# Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com
# 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
# 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
# 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
# 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
# 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

I just got a memory card I can't get it to work.

She/He as a i presume have the V3xx.

(this is about the same for all Razrs that take memory cards/Trans flash)

-Menu
-Settings/tools
-System
-Device Info
then to
-Storage Devices

and if it shows up than obviouslt your cards working and the phone knows its there.

if not, a lil trick i found.
Put the transflash card (your lil memory card) into the SD adapter and put it into a camera and take a picture. check and see if the picture is saved on the card. If it is than pop it in your phone and see if you can find that picture. if you dont see it on your camera, its the card.

also if it is listed in your Storage devices.
but for some reason when you take a picture it doesnt save to the memory card?

go into your camera settings and change your storage device to the memory card.

at default it sets your phone as the primary storage, not you memory card.

I hope this helped.

Need help syncing RAZR V3m to PC...please!!!

It took me a year of trying, but I finally got my Razrs to talk to the pc. I googled "Unlocking a Razr" and got a lot of good ideas. The best combo seemed to be downloading some older USB drivers from a post I saw in the Hack the Razr site, and then running the PST program in the background while running P2k. Once I got Pst to connect to the phone, P2k handled saving my mp3's to the phone. I also saved mp3's to the card using a card reader and putting them in the audio folder on the phone.

The biggest hurdle is getting the right drivers so the phone will talk with the pc. Not impossible, but it takes some diligence. Like I said, I spent a few months last summer hacking my phone and going nowhere... then this summer I tried it again, and got it to work. My next conquest is ringtones. Not having a lot of luck there.

I know I've rambled. Hope you find what you need. I got it all by google-ing.

Razr V3m trans flash card problem

When you put the pictures onto the card form your pc you have to put them into the folders created by your cellphone for example pictures to pix or pictures and music to my music on the card. How is your music formatted the razr will only read mp3 songs?

Everything dealing with ringtones from the pc

Well the only way you will get WMP to see the phone is if you have a Tran-flash card in it to Load MP3. You can though use a program called BitPim to put MP3 On the phones memory... You would put it in the audio directory.. and then play it with Sprints MP3 Player.

How do i access my memory card

If you are in your pictures or ringtones and you want to get to your memory card, go to options and switch storage device to Trans-T-Flash. If you are wanting to check the memory on your card, go to Settings, Phone status, Storage Devices and it will show the memory on your card and on your phone.

Memory card for motorola razr

younigleigh: To access your card you have to change the Storage Device. For example if you want to access your RINGTONES or SOUNDS, do as follows: 1. Go to MY STUFF menu by pressing the CIRCLED button betten the GREEN (SEND CALL) and the RED (ON/OFF) buttons. 2. Select for example SOUNDS. 3. Hit the middle multiple bar between the BACK and GO TO options on screen (SOUNDS MENU). 4. Select SWITCH STORAGE DEVICE and select the CARD option. You're now accessing and STORING data on your MEMORY CARD. SithPitt
