Question about GE Heating & Cooling
My GE SmartSense split AC is malfunctioning... Soon after pressing the ON button on the Remote Controller, I get the usual ring tone... but it is almost immediately followed by the OFF tone... and then a yellow light blinks from the second LED of the indoor unit... then the system goes off... please help
SOURCE: ice formation in the indoor unit
you need to have the unit checked for the amount of freon in the system this must be done with a gauge set the freon amount is obviously incorrect
also the a-frame evaporator must be sealed in the furnace cabinet

The "CO" indicates cleaning operation and can be switched of via remote button under flap, labelled AUTO CLEAN.
