Question about Cell Phones
I drop my phon in water what should i do
Posted on Sep 17, 2008
My SonyEricsson P990 went through a full wash cycle in the soap drawer when my 2 year old decided I was talking too much on the phone. It was powered on when he stuck it in just after my wife had started a wash. I found it four hours later. Dismantled it, washed the washing powder away, blow dried it, re-assembled it and.... it worked!

I dropped my lg env in the toilet and, like you got it out it nano seconds the screen turned white but i didn't take out the batery im pretty sure the white stuff was water evarporating. now its about 4 days later and it turns on. but it says a battery is required when i plug it in.and the front numbers and keys do not work.so i have to call from the inside and hen close it and to end a call i have to poen it and press "end".

I dropped mine in the toilet ): Its drying in the airing cupboard but i kept trying to turn it on- this is where I've gone wrong you need to take everything out battery etc. and wait up to 3 days to let it dry (no less than 24 hrs). Then try switching it on, its worked for some people.
One of my phone's went in the washing machine try the same thing if this doesn't work a new battery won't help.
