Question about Samsung 26.1 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless-Platinum
RS267lash samsung refrig. display panel fridge temp blinking and slowing climbing up. what is causing this.
Sounds like the fan unit is faouling with ice. The solution is to remove the whole of the contents and then the units inside at the rear. Defrost same and re assemble. Its not that hard if you remove the light difuser first and the two screws. Mark the difuser for top. Then ease out the unit and remove after taking out the electrical connections. They fit only one way. The lower unit has four screws. Two under covers. Easy to unclip. The ice seal may mean that it is not that easy to remove. Defrost both the units with a hairdryer or similar and clear insulation from the fan drain. Re assemble when clear and as dry as you can. The problem will come back so be aware that you have to repeat the procedure when the fan gives signs of fouling. Paul.
