Dear Friend.. This is virus ya - scvshots.exe
the virus developers give the name to their virus files very much similar to the actual system file name - svchosts.exe So use Bit Defender total security 2010 and scan the system thoroughly..

First, go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs and remove all the programs you don't use. Then go here:
http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/
Microsoft's website can scan your computer for viruses and optimize performance. The process can take a while so be patient.

If this helps please vote for my solution.

Is the file wmipruse.exe a virus or something that can be used to disrupt my laptop?

To avoid stopping all the services when a provider fails, providers are loaded into a separate host process named Wmiprvse.exe. Multiple instances of Wmiprvse.exe can run at the same time under different accounts: LocalSystem, NetworkService or LocalService. The WMI core WinMgmt.exe is loaded into the shared Local Service host named Svchost.exe.
Note: wmiprvsw.exe is the Sasser worm!
Note: The wmiprvse.exe file is located in the folder C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem. In other cases, wmiprvse.exe is a virus, spyware, trojan or worm!

0xc0000005 error is one of the errors a PC user can face. This is a critical access violation error that needs a quick response. If this error is not addressed immediately, this problem might destroy the computer system. Because this error relates the computer memory, there is a huge tendency that you are going to experience computer freezes and slow down. The Windows operating system will run slow because of some system defects.

Dell 531 Multiple problems: - Running slower and slower by the day - Keeps trying to do automatic file backups, but then shows an error stating that my backup disk space is low

Hi,
I think you need to increase the Physical Memory of your computer... If the physical memory is less, system goes slow...

You can increase your available physical memory by either adding more memory chips or by deleting existing software or files. Pls follow this step: Go to RUN, type WINMSD.EXE You can able to see the available physical memory. If the memory is very less then you need to increase the space as I mentioned above. Pls let me know if this doesn't work.

My computer is very slow uploading how do i fix this problem please

You may need to provide more details on this. But...
1). Do you mean that your computer is slow BOOTING up?
It may be that you need to Upgrade your RAM (memory) because as you add more programs applications to your computer over time, many of them load up some apps into memory on computer start-up. One way out is to type msconfig.exe (Start > Run > msconfig.exe), go to 'Start up' and uncheck the programs you can do without on start-up. But best way is to increase Memory.
2). Do you mean UPLOADING files to the internet?
This will depend on the speed of your Internet Link, and / or the speed of the server on the internet you are uploading to. Try uploading to some other destination and compare. If it is slow generally, then you may need to contact your Internet Service Provider and ask for Uplink bandwidth increase.
Hope this helped.

Hi,
Use the step to clear memory without restarting your PC...
  1. Right click on an empty spot on your Desktop and select New -- Shortcut.
  2. Type (%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe advapi32.dll) in the box.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Give your shortcut a nice name like “Clear Memory

Unknown file

In software Svchost.exe is a generic host process name for services that run from dynamic-link libraries (DLLs) within the Microsoft Windows operating system.
At startup, Svchost.exe checks the services part of the registry to construct a list of services that it must load. Multiple instances of Svchost.exe can run at the same time. Each Svchost.exe session can contain a grouping of services. Therefore, separate services can run, depending on how and where Svchost.exe is started. This grouping of services permits better control and easier debugging, but it also causes some difficulty for end users wishing to see the memory usage or vendor legitimacy of individual services and processes. End users in Windows XP Professional (and derivatives, such as Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP Media Center Edition) can run the following command at the system prompt to get a breakdown:
tasklist /svc /fi "imagename eq svchost.exe" (NB: This command does not work in Windows XP Home.)
Due to being widespread among running processes, svchost.exe has long been a common disguise used by malware to hide its presence from the user. (One of the common trojan horses deceptively uses scvhost.exe). Users may then run tasklist with no arguments and match the reported PIDs with the previously shown Svchost instances. If memory usage appears abnormal, the user can look up the service names shown by their command on the internet to see if it is a known service or malware.
The Svchost.exe file is located in the %SystemRoot%\System32 folder. The main registry key involved at bootup is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SvcHost (values in this key will show the user at least a partial list of the actual processes behind instances of svchost).
The 30 April, 2007 release of WSUS 3.0 led to reports of svchost.exe issues, including 100% CPU usage, memory hogging, and excessive laptop fan/power usage.[1]

Slow computer

Hi,

Have u got sufficient RAM to support all ur programs...Check with the Windows Task Manager (Right click on the Task bar) for the physical memory and page file usage in ur PC.

Using Task Manager itself...check whether any unknown process  like DC.exe, FUN.exe, etc., are running....OR...anyother process is running with more than 50% processor utilisation!

If any of the above symptoms are there, try changing to some other antivirus like Antivir OR Comodo and search for Malwares, and Viruses...

Bye

Have a nice day.

I hope ... this solves ur problem. :)
