How do i upload video from my nikon d7000 to my computer. Will upload photos but the video didn't

You neglected to specify how you're trying to upload your videos so I can only give general hints.
First, make sure you're using a program that recognizes videos. If you're using a program designed to copy photos, that's exactly what it will do -- copy photos. Videos aren't photos, and such a program will ignore them.

The best way to download pictures and videos from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures and videos from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, as I suggested earlier, use a program that recognizes both photos and videos, such as Nikon Transfer.

I took pictures and videos on vacation, when I incerted the memory card in my pc, all the pictures came out(were uploaded onto the pc) but NOT my videos. Each of the videos were just a black space. What...

If you were uploading the pics to a program on your computer, it may not be capable of video transfer, only still jpegs. You could use a card reader to download the videos to a folder you create on your desktop. From there, you could try to play them with another program on your computer. You could also download a free copy of Quicktime from Apple.com to play the videos. typrice_25.jpg

Olympus SP-550UZ camera will not upload recording to computer

Long videos should be transferred to a folder you create on your desktop using a separate card reader. eaa3d1b.jpg

My camera wont upload videos, but it works fine with pictures.

Goto any radio shack and get a external memory card reader this will allow you to get your pictures if the camera or cable is defective.

My SC-DC163 camcorder does nothing when I try to upload videos to my PC.

the way you can transfer your videos on your computer is by using USB cable and install the driver to your computer. You can upload your videos by saving it on ULEAD products. As far as i know you cant transfer videos from disc to your memory card unless it was been converted but you cant view or watch it on your camcorder itself only computer can play this because your camcorder is not able to play such converted files.

thank you for using fixya

When you connect the camera to the PC through USB, you should see the Scanner and Camera Wizard. It gives you the option to transfer pictures and videos to another location on your system. It won't do if if you don't have the room on your HDD.

Uploading videos

You have to have the video taken, and to do this the easiest way, (how I do it) I open the folder for the camera.
(My computer then the place where you pluged the camera in) then I go to the videos folder while in the camera folder, and then drag and drop the videos into ShowBiz.

Hope this helped.
