I can't figure out how to put the slides in the projector. It would seem it should be self explanatory but..I've never seen one of these and I couldn't find any instruction manual on line (except ones to buy). Help. Thanks. Nancy

I ve been asked to find out why a avr 30 doesnt put out any sound no matter what jacks are used...... im a property manager not a service tech go figure

Bad fuse? power supply problem, blown output transistor. It is an old discontinued model, so any stereo repair shop might be able to fix it.

I can not figure out how to adjust the balance on my speakers. It seems that one speaker in louder than the other. I cant find my manual and i've been tinkering with the receiver with no avail.

Tinkering won't work. HT510??? Not HTR510? Maybe that's what you meant.

All AVR's have settings for individual speaker channel levels and distances from the listening position.

How do i remove the side woofers?

This isn't too descriptive but, I'm assuming this is a car audio system. "Side" must refer to the door panel speakers? In which case you will first need to remove the interior door panel and the rest should be self explanatory. The Woofers, in this case, will not be seperate, unless your driving some sort of high end ride. This is possible based on the nondescript, fragmented approach to asking this question.

The buttons assigning DVD, TV, VCR, etc suddenly changed their assignments. DVD was now TV, VCR was now DVD, etc. I don't think it all happened at once either. Now I can't get sound from the...

There are facilities to CHOOSE the digital assignment. I've seen where extended power loss will randomly lose custom settings. Open the manual.

I have a DVD player. The Model# is PDV709. The brand is Duuran. When I put the DVD into the player on the spindle, it will not come up. The message is "Errr" "No Disk".

You have a loading belt problem. It has gone slack and is slipping on the drive pulley. It will need replacement. It is under the loading tray and in some systems can be seen from the front it self .

No signal being reached

I'll give you the short answer. Your receiver is either version 1.1,1.2,1.2a,or 1.2b. None of which ever function correctly. HDMI is riddled with issues. The current version is 1.3b and I havent seen any issues "Yet". Best way to solve the problem is to run sources directly to the unit and run audio via digital coaxial or optical to your receiver. If you want the long version of all the HDMI issues, you can google "HDMI forums" and there are lots! Hope this helps. If you still need some help, post a comment and I can help more.

Sound goes in and out

First thing you need to try is outputting from the projector with a different audio source. either composite or digital coaxial, etc depending on what the projector has. First thing is to make sure its not the HDMI on the projector.
