Question about Facebook Social Network

1 Answer

I can no longer log in to facebook and any of the three computers I own. On July 4th I responded to a message and when I when to hit the share button (or whatever button that is) it sent me back to teh facebook start page and said I had to log in again. I typed in my information but was taken to the screen that said my password or user name wasn't correct. I reentered both of them correctly again but the same thing. After three attempts I decided I'd use the "I forgot my password" and did as asked but I've never recieved a confirmation code email. Now my account has been temporarily suspended and when I try to reactivate it I still get no emails from Facebook. I have another facebook profile for my business (different user name and email account) and it works fine ... the forgot your password feature sends me an email immediately. What is wrong and hwo do I (or they) fix it?

I tried to get my account back and they card they sent me a code to buffiemartin@live.can but I don't know how. To get to the link to confirm I think it would be easier if my original profile pic came into view and if I identified it as being me then gave you a couple old passwords that were used on the account in question we could find my proper Facebook a account

Either your account has been suspended due to a violation of policies or is hacked. If your account is disabled by Facebook, you will see the message after trying to log in. If you do not see that your account is hacked. May be using a fake page (Phishing). You can mail to Facebook and ask for help. Especially if you faced security issues.
If you feel that your account has been compromised, use this link to report.
If you have Violated (or not Violated intensionally) the Policies, please use this link to report.
Security Best Practices with Facebook:
Change your mail password. Never save passwords in browsers. Always clear Browser cache and Temporary internet files. Use this link to log in to Facebook. Bookmark it. Look for the padlock. Use Firefox of IE8. Always check the address bar to verify the link. Use a strong Anti Virus solution to protect you from Phishing. Such as Bitdefender. Never use login links in your Mail Box. Facebook never send Login Pages to inbox. Check for other Facebook links as well (check the Status bar at the bottom of your Browser to know the actual Address) Never use shortened links (like http:\bt.ly etc) Use Facebook notifications and Inbox rather than using your Mail Inbox. Do not use Unknown applications in Facebook. There are many Phishing Trojans. Keep your PC free of Viruses.
Follow the steps to avoid any difficulties such as Security threats.
There is an action limitation in FB. Do not over use any feature within 60 seconds. You will get warned. If you exceed the action 100 times your account will be suspended or deactivated.
Hope this would help. Please rate the answer if this solution helped you!

You have two accounts and you have logged into the wrong one. It happens all the time!

Go to your browser and click Options, clear all internet history including Cookies. Reboot computer and log in with your email address and password.

Only 1 account? OK, press the CTRL key down and press the F5 key on the computer.

Don't want facebook no longer

You can either deactivate your account (basically deleting, but with the ability to come back) or delete your account completely:

To Deactivate, click the gear button at the top right on facebook's toolbar, then click Settings. Then click "Security" on the left side of the page. At the end of that list of security settings you can change is a "deactivate your account" button.

To delete, log in then go to this link: https://www.facebook.com/help/delete_account

I can;t find the recipes I shared on facebook

On your timeline page near the top, click "Activity Log" (but not the gear and arrow next to it)

Then click "Your Posts" to see things you posted to your timeline that may have been hidden by you or just went "out of trend" according to Facebook's crazy computers.

Unable to like or share in fb

Facebook's "Like" function allows you to express support or enjoyment for the posts your friends share to the news feed or your wall. When you "Like" a shared item, it notifies the original poster and anyone else who has liked or commented on the post. By using this function, you can participate in the discourse about the post without actually needing to type a single word.

Navigate to Facebook and sign in to your account. Locate the shared post you want to "like." Try scrolling through your news feed or navigating to the page belonging to the person who shared the post if you have difficulty finding it. Click the "Like" link, located below the shared post. You will see a message saying "You like this" under the link once the "like" has been successfully submitted. Share Articles on Facebook b> Facebook is increasingly used as a news source by its millions of users. Facebook friends and fans receive and share news of interest through status updates and links to outside articles. Sharing articles on Facebook is easy. You can share an article by posting it to your wall for your friends or fans to see, or you can send it to just a few friends by direct message.

b>Log in to Facebook with your email address and password. Click "Link," located to the right of "Share," near the top of your homepage. Copy the Web address of the article you want to share, and paste it in the box. Click "Attach." Add a message to the post if you wish, then click "Share." The article will appear on your wall and in the news feeds of your friends or fans. b> Posting Directly from Another Site b> Locate the share button near the article. This button may appear as "Like," "Recommend" or "Share on Facebook." Once you click it, a new box will open. Log in to Facebook if you have not already done so. Click "Post to Profile," then "Post," to share the article on your wall. b> Share Using Direct Message b> Click "Messages" from the left-hand column of Facebook. Select "+New Message" near the top of the page. Type the name of the person to whom you are sending the article. Add your message, and paste the link. Click "Send." Hope this helps.

I can't log in my yahoo messenger in my blackberry and i can't log in my facebook chat also and why everytime i upload photo to my facebook from my blackberry my phone lagging?

Are you getting any kind of error messages logging into your Yahoo Messenger or your Facebook Chat? What happens when you try logging into them?
In regards to loading pics on Facebook, try clearing the Facebook cach?. Open Facebook app, menu button, options, and then scroll down and clear the cach?. Algo, clear your old notifications by highlighting the date above the last notification, hitting menu button, and clearing all last notifications. Also, you may have a lot of photos on your phone. Clear out any photos you don't need on your phone anymore and save them on your computer or somewhere else. This should help with your phone lagging.
