Question about Maytag MAV3955E Top Load Washer
The motor runs during the spin cycle in the same direction as during the
drain only cycle. Since the machine drains properly, this is a clear
indication that the issue is not within the motor. The motor should run
in opposite direction during the spin mode, not in the same direction as
during the agitate mode. This is a clear manifestation that the motor is not switched to the spin mode which the timer failed to do so. The issue is definitely with the timer and not with the motor, transmission, nor the brake/clutch/bearing.
