We have a GE Profile cooktop in the house we bought. I found the manual from previous owners of house and it is a JP350. It has white knobs (4 large and one smaller one). I would really like to have...

The oven will unexpectedly shut off during use. The code "F-3" will display.

Probably the oven sensor. Fairly easy to replace yourself. Good Luck.

Kenmore oven error code f10

on that type of range F10 indicates a problem within the electronic control, but it could possible be caused by a faulty temperature sensor.

I would recommend service from a technician

F2 code on a oven mod#911-41069690

go to repairclinic.com click on repair help, then error codes... scroll to kenmore (it will give you a list by the first 3 digits of model number, who really made the machine.. (kenmore doesn't make anything) then go to appropriate brand and find error codes.

My kenmore oven/stove is showing F4 what is this

F4 indicates the oven temperature sensor is bad. Not knowing the exact model you have I can't give you an exact price but I've always used http://www.appliance-parts-warehouse.com/ for my parts but you're free to shop elsewhere if you plan to make the repair yourself. The part isn't very expensive and is fairly easy to install yourself.

Kenmore Model #790 - smooth top range

Probably not. It sounds like your broil element burned out. This just happens sometimes. If it is this , it will have visible chunks missing. Yes, It shorted with enough force to blow the main fuse. Unplug it as sometimes it can still be live and sparking when power is restored. Element is fairly cheap usually less than $50 and you can fix it yourself.
