Boot the PC into "Windows Safe Mode with Networking" and see if you can connect. If you can, download and install the following applications:
Perform scans on your PC and then boot normally and see if you can connect.
If you are still having problems, it sounds like the networking stack has been corrupted and you may have to do an integrity check of Windows. Have a look at the following link about Scannow SFC.
