You will need to insert the original restore CD that came with your computer or a copy of the operating system that you would like to install and then boot the disc at start up and follow the on screen prompts. To add more memory, open up the cover lid at the bottom of your netbook and if there are two slots, add another 1GB memory stick to the empty slot. If there is only one slot, remove the current memory stick and replace with a larger (2 GB) stick. Click on the links below to read more:
