I can only find a firmware update here
http://members.driverguide.com/driver_search.php?q=broadxent+8120&si=61875c902cca5948a9e7c6716057100a&st=1278837331&gqm0=broadxent+8120

seems lots people having problems with this 1.
May be easier to invest in a new 1, looks like dsl modems are about £45

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Here's a link to this great service

Good luck!

Windows XP 64 needs entirely different drivers than Win XP 32, and Windows Vista/7 64bit/32bit.

If you can not find specialized drivers, there is nothing you can do to make it work.

Your modem is what connects you to the internet, your Mac airport is a router...One of the quirks about Apple's AirPort Base Stations is that they are routers, but not modems. As a quick refresher: a router enables you to create a network that connects various devices together (Macs, iPhones, iPads, hard drives, printers and so on); whereas a modem connects your network to the wider internet.

Hi,
Try this site:

The card is actually a BritePort™ Wireless LAN PCMCIA Card 2020, marketed by Creative. It's made by Broadxent. If the above link isn't the right driver, try contacting Creative and/or Broadxent.
