Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To reset the TV you’ll need to disconnect the TV from the power socket and mains, remove all the cables from/to the TV and let it without power for about 10 minutes and after it plug all the cables back and switch it on. To replace the lamp use a Philips screwdriver to open the small square shaped lamp compartment panel on the side or back of the TV and pull the lamp out slowly to remove it. Now clean the lamp holder and new lamp with a micro fiber cloth. Please make sure to turn off and unplug the TV for at least 1 hour to drain off current from all components especially capacitors before you perform any repairs. Also note that the TV consists of very high voltages even when it is in off position. Before performing any repairs I’ll suggest you to try and reset the TV by unplugging it for 8-10 hours. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

My picture is foggy is there coolant that needs to be replaced in a toshiba 44nhm84

This type of TV doesn't use coolant. I would suggest to clean the mirror that reflects the image from the optical engine to the screen before replacing the lamp.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

How to replace Power Supply in Toshiba 44NHM84 44" TV

Since this is a DLP type set, there is a lamp and ballast involved. When the set shuts down, are there any indicator lights on the front? If so, check the owner's manual for an explanation of their meaning. Typically, the lamp can cause this or the ballast. If either of those are the problem, usually the lights on the front panel will indicate it.

Keep us posted.
