Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

1995 Dodge Stratus Error codes 12, 13, 14, 24, 26, and 33. What do each of these mean?

Code 12 is only displayed when outputting "flash codes" (Cycling the key and watching the Check Engine Light flash) - it mostly indicates that the diagnostic system is functioning properly. There is only a problem if you don't get this code.

Codes 13 and 14 are both MAP Sensor codes.

Codes 24 and 26 are both Secondary Air Switching Solenoid codes.

Code 33 is an A/C Presure sensor circuit code.

Flash codes are pretty generic. They tell you that there is a failure in a particular system, but they don't specify what type of failure. Flash Code 14 for example, can mean that the Map Sensor Voltage is too high or it can mean that it is too low, or it can mean that the 5 volt reference voltage is shorted to ground.

"P-codes" (The kind you must have a scanner to get) however, are more descriptive. Those will give you a more accurate description of what exactly is the problem with the system that has failed.

I will advise you however, that all of these codes can be caused by a shorted VREF. (5 Volt Reference Circuit) Find out where it is shorted and you will most likely fix all of these codes with one repair.

Is it possible to to convert charrcter datatype into integer datatype

If you want to get the ASCII value of a character, or just convert it into an int (say for writing to an OutputStream), you need to cast from a char to an int.

What's casting? Casting is when we explicitly convert from one primitve data type, or a class, to another. Here's a brief example.
public class char_to_int { public static void main(String args[]) { char myChar = 'a'; int i = (int) myChar; // cast from a char to an int System.out.println ("ASCII value - " + i); } }

In this example, we have a character ('a'), and we cast it to an integer. Printing this integer out will give us the ASCII value of 'a'.

If so and you are using Win XP you may want to try a system restore to a previous point before the changes were made or uninstall the toolbars completely. Whatever computer-programmer who wrote the code for the web-page that you tried to fetch has an error in the coding, i.e., no ')' following after a '(' character.

Avoid that web-page, or contact the author of that web-page, so that they can fix the fault.

ALT Codes

I'm a little late to the game, but...
I share James's frustration. Seems like a dumb thing for Dell to economize on. Here's my workaround, for what it's worth.
  1. Open the Windows on-screen keyboard (osk.exe). And, for later ease of use, pin it to your taskbar. (Detailed instructions: click on the Windows start button, type osk.exe in the search box, right-click on the program, select Pin to Taskbar.)
  2. On the virtual keyboard, open Options and select "Turn on the numeric keypad." After saving the setting, press the NumLock button.
  3. Here's the tricky bit: press and hold Alt on your physical keyboard, and then press and hold Fn, again on your physical keyboard. You're holding them both down, right? Keep doing it. Now enter your four-digit code on the virtual (on-screen) keyboard. Release the physical keys. You should have your special character.
Hope it works for you.
