Is this an analogue or digital tv tuner card.
If it is not a digital tv tuner card you wont get any channels.
UK has gone fully digital now and you need a digital receiver(freeview)
If it is a digital receiver you may just have a poor signal from your ariel

Can't get local channels even though it is hooked up to an antenna

You may need to elevate the height of the antenna or verify the wire connections. If you have done that, try another convertor.

How to get wirless internet

Turn on your Wii.
  • 3Select Wii Options, which is located on the bottom left of the screen. This is the button with the Wii logo.
  • 4Select Wii Settings.
  • 5Click forward to the second menu screen using the blue arrow to the right.
  • 6Select Internet.
  • 7Select Connection Settings.
  • 8Choose an open connection, indicated by the word: "none".
  • 9Choose a wireless connection.
  • 10Determine the best option for you: Manual configuration or Search for an Access Point.
  • 11On Search for an Access Point, your Wii will search for a wireless network to connect to and will display a list of available networks. Networks identified with a closed padlock require authentication to join.
  • 12Select your network.
    • If your connection signal appears yellow or red, the stability or strength of the connection is not strong enough for the Wii's Internet needs. If possible, remove any obstacles between the Wii console and the Access Point or change the channel on your router to avoid interference.
    • If your wireless access point does not show up when you choose, Search for An Access Point, your router may have Broadcasting set to "No" or "Disable." Some routers also refer to this security as "Stealth" mode. You can either change your broadcast setting to "Yes" or "Enable," or you can manually enter the SSID in the manual setup screen of your Wii console.
  • 13Select Save and OK.
  • 14Select OK on the next screen and the Wii will preform an automatic connection test.
  • 15Wait for the Wii to connect and download any needed updates.

  • Browsing the Internet
    1. 1Go to the Wii shop channel and download the Internet Channel. This channel is free.
    2. 2Select the Internet channel from the block on the main screen and follow the instructions to browse the Internet. Feel free to go on any site you want, like Facebook or Twitter. (or maybe even this website!)

How do i tune the channels on a toshiba rc3910

    Hi
Before tuning the set to auto tune mode, make sure the antenna or cable, whatever may, connected to its appropriate sockets at the back of the set firmly. To make it autotune:

As new services are broadcast, it will be necessary to

re-tune the television in order to view them.

Auto Tuning will completely re-tune the television

and can be used to update the channel list. It is

recommended that Auto Tuning is run periodically to
ensure that all new services are added. All current

channels and settings, i.e. locked channels, will be
    lost.

[1] Select the SETUP from the main menu by using

Up or Down buttons. Press OK and Setup menu
    will be displayed.

[2] Select the Installation from the Setup menu

by using Up or Down buttons. Press OK and
    Installation menu will be displayed.

]3] Select Automatic Channel Scan from the Installation

menu by using Up or Down buttons and press OK.

A screen will appear warning that previous digital

programmes and settings will be deleted. Select Yes
and press OK to continue with the Auto tuning.

The television will start to search for all available

stations. You must allow the television to complete

the search. When the search is complete the Auto

tuning screen will display the total number of
    services found.

    * After search is completed for digital channels, a

message asking whether to search for analogue
    channels appears on the screen

** Press the OK button to search for analogue

channels. The following menu appears on the screen
    for analogue channel search
    OK.

    We have a TCL 32"

It sounds as though the battery backup for the memory has failed, some sets use a cell battery like the ones in a pc or some watchs, some have a plastic cover with a cble which connects to the circuit board. Have a look around inside if you are competant, but be careful, make sure the set is switched off and if you dont know what something is then dont touch it. Even when switched off, some tv's can store enough voltage to kill you.

My wireless connections will not work! last night both lap tops and my daughters zip it were unable to establish a wireless connection. It happened once before about a month ago and were able to...

    OK, to clarify.
    Ethernet = modem?
    Wireless box = router?
Do you have hardwire connection to router?
Check the wireless settings in router with hardwire connection.
Most routers use random channel search for wireless.
I usually set this for to use one channel only.
    Stops random interference and connections.
FYI: Most routers are on 2.4ghz - same as cordless phones and some hand radios - the frequencies over lap sometimes - even though they aren't supposed to.
    Microwaves will also disrupt signals.

New ariel installed on communal roof, have tried auto store, some channels now missing, samsung 23" LCD TV LE23R8

you must run "auto program search"/"auto store" again and let the TV find the programs. then put them in order and store.
If you feel some channels are missing, try to find them manually. The auto store function sometimes skips programmes with less tolerant range, even if they are watchable in a fairly good quality. And search slowly and pay attention and go back if you feel you just skipped something. Good luck and lots of patience!
A new aerial sometimes might mean loss of some channels.

    I hope it was helpful

    Tv not working

Can you confirm that you didn't have any input signal? My wife once accidentally pressed the reset button on the remote and the TV was stuck in this state. I tried to hook up an antenna to the digital antenna input and let the TV search for a channel. It did find a station and got out of the channel search mode, which was all I needed. Then, I unhook the antenna and continued to enjoy my DVD movie. I didn't check the manual. So, it's possible that there is a better solution. My TV was working fine and I think it just has a terrible user interface. I'm not sure about your TV's condition, though.
