Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
Laptop: HP Pavilion dv6000 CTO
Problem Area: Conexant High Definition Smartaudio 221
Main Problems: Okay, several days ago this certain driver kept disappearing and reappearing each time I restarted the system, and it finally gave up the ghost one day. I thought I must have deleted it by accident, but when I did a driver check with ''Driver Inspector'', it appeared under the ''Unplugged Devices'' section, which means that it's still installed in my laptop, but it's not detected under the playback section of sounds. I've literally tried everything on the HP site (getting the driver of the site etc.) , but none of the solutions worked there. I would be very thankful if someone can help me with my predicament.
Minor Problems: Something minor was also happening with my flash and shockwave players. They were both crashing each time a video was being played. After Conexant disappeared, flash and shockwave were running smoothly. I'm thinking there is a connection between these players and my audio problem.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
