Canoscan 4200f Problem with Vista 32 bit

My canoscan 4200f scanner worked perfectly with windows xp, but since moving to Vista 32bit I get an error 2,177,0 when I try to scan.
I have downloaded the driver from the Canon USA web site

I have a scanner CANON CANOSCAN 4700 and dasn't work with VISTA, with xp yes

I have the same problem.
