Hello there,

Make sure the processor and the processor is tightly locked on your motherboard. Also, try to unplug your computer by pulling out the power cord; wait for like 10 minutes and power it back.

If the above does not work, please let me know.

the problem has to be in the monitor not the computer as i am using a different monitorof the same model and it works fine. thanks bill

Oh, I thought it was a board since you posted in the Motherboards section. But anyway, thank you for your additional information and clarification. Yes it is the monitor that is at fault. It has a hardware problem with on the inside. Upon startup, the system detected a problem and thus the auto-shut off feature the monitor activated to protect itself from further damage.

The green led blinking status on the monitor if often shows a fault on
the power supply to the monitor. This is often complicated but if you can, open the cover of your monitor and see the power supply area
for any capacitors that is bulging or leaking; look on the entire board as well. These capacitors needs to be replaced in order to fix the problem. However, if you are not technically skilled doing electronic jobs, touching these capacitors could harm you, and thus you need to take this to a computer technician. If you monitor is still under one year or under warranty, i would suggest that you also avail the warranty, and take it to an authorized service center to save cost of repair.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

Yukon Ranger 5 x 42 night vision goggles just stopped working, I put in new batteries, but when I press the ON button the on light, which is red, just flashes maybe 10 times and then all goes black. ???

Hello, let do this. IR illuminator has a montary switch, that is when you push it comes on, and when you release it the IR goes off and it has a red LED to indicate the IR illuminator is being activated.

When you turn you binocular on there will be a green LED activated. This switch is DTSA---double throw sing activated. That is, one throw of the switch it turns on the binocular, the throw will turn off the binocular.

Also within the control panel there is timing circuit to keep the IR illumniator on for ten second the shuts off. Make sure you have the right switches etc. Let me know, then we can brain storm on this matter. stewbison

Panasonic PT-60LCX64 does not power up

There could be a possible failure of the Ht circuit, check on your Ht Drive output trans, the LOT, any shorting in the HT capaciitors, short in the LT line. You will need to probe into the power side as there is a safety switch off. the microcontroller is working fine and hence trace carefully looking for damaged resistors, capacitors or transistors in the power side.
