tv worked last night. can't get it to turn on today. Standby light on front of tv is blinking seven times although I think it has always blinked I just don't how often or how many times

There may be a scan failure, and or a failure in the main power supply. The main power supply is in the protect mode due to the failure.

A TV service tech should be able to go through the set and determine the exact failure to service it.
