Question about Asrock P4VM8 Motherboard

BSOD keeps on flashing during installation of Win XP

I need help!! I'm a user of an Asrock P4vm8 motherboard, and I can't install Windows XP nor 2k!!!

the Blue Screen of Death keeps on flashing during installation of Windows! It keeps telling me that the "vendor of this motherboard isn't a fully ACPI complient" and that i need to press F7 during installation, to disable ACPI. After i did that, some Windows drivers can't be copied during the installation, therefore resulting to another Blue Screen of Death, saying disable cache or shadowing. What's the meaning of this? Please, i need help. :(

I think the problem is with your RAM installed, try to swap other memory on your computer or try your RAM to other PC to determine if its working.

Hello sir i am deepak sir i want soun driver for ASROCK series motherboard plz help me

You just need to go to asrock and download the drivers. You will need the chipset driver as well as the sound driver. Install the chipset first then the sound. This link should take you to the download page for your motherboard. There will also be manuals and support utilities as well as other drivers. All worth downloading and saving to a handy cd.

Asrock 775i65g, after formating how to install audio driver from internet

From this official link select your op. system and download the drivers you need. Note that there are no drivers for win 7. In case you use win 7 I suggest to download the drivers for win xp and after the download finish, right click on the installation files, choose properties and at the compatibility tab check the mark for Windows xp compatibility.

Not able to complete windows xp setup

First let's try to "flash" the BIOS to correct the erroneous data crashes. Here's the link for the motherboard:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=P4VM8

After flashing go back to the BIOS and setup the appropriate settings, after that reboot and try to load Windows. If this fails then possibly you may have faulty memory modules or they are not seated correctly in the motherboard, try swapping them, hopefully they are the same. I hope this helps.
