Can only hear some audio.

We have a RCA WHP141 Wireless Headphone set. If we plug it into the comcast receiver we can get tv audio through the headset, but not audio from the dvd/vcr player. If we plug it into the tv front we can hear the dvd/vcr audio, but not the audio from comcast.

Any suggestions?
