I received a VIV-CV-125V digital binocular 10x25 camera as a gift from my employer. I did not receive the software so I can download the pictures to the computer. Is there a place on line I can download ...

I just got one as a gift. Unfortunatey it is junk. A very poor camera attached to an OK bincular.

When the device plugged into the computer a TWAIN driver should load. Mine loads the driver about one out every of 5 or 6 tries. Any program capable of importing pictures from a TWAIN device should thenbe able to import the pictures. I have used Corel Paint Shop Pro.

Cant upload photos from my camera

try this go into device manager, remove ALL the USB, uninstall all the drivers, reboot PC, install the software that came with your camera, reboot, at next desktop, wait say a few mins, and NOW plug in your camera, you should hear a dong dong, it will then either install or ask for drivers, point it to the software that you used to install, wait until finished and with it still attached, reboot, wait until desktop appears next time, and wait a little bit, now your camera should work.

Why is my computer unable to load various drivers?

The driver is NOT digitally signed so in actual fact they indeed are NOT being installed. You will have to turn of the check digital signature by pressing F8 at Bootup and selecting it. Then you can install it. Install as Administrator, Set the install .exe & run .exe, to Compatability Mode for XP SP 2. You WILL have to press F8 each and every time you boot otherwise Vista will "Block" the driver from loading. There is NO real workaround.

MacBook Pro won't recognize canon powershot SD400

Hello. You need to probably reinstall the drivers. but first you have to remove the drivers that are all ready installed. first unplug your usb cord. then to remove the drivers allready installed,, on your computer, press start, then when the box open's up, then right click on computer. another box will open up. then left click at the bottom of that box on properties. another box will open up, then click on device manager. after you click on device manager another box will open up with all your devices. look for the previous camera you had installed. it might be under imaging devices. once you locate that, then right click on it. then choose uninstall. Make sure you have your new software loaded in your cd/dvd rom drive. after it is done uninstalling, just restart your computer. at the bottom right of your screen, it should say, found new device, it will ask you from where do you want to load the new drivers for it. click on the drive that contains the software. it then will load your new drivers up. It then should communicate with your camera. Hope this helps. Ron

Polaroid camera not windows nt compatible

Starting from the start plug in the device and XP will detect and look for new drivers a search for drivers is usually done in the inf directory under windows or winnt directory If a driver is not found the computer pops up a question did a Cd or software come with this device if you install the software the a reboot is usally needed if you do not do a reboot you can try once the drivers have been installed unplug the device and plug it back in again the computer will search for the new drivers that are installed and should set up the device to work If it does not work you will need to get driver for the device that will work with XP I have a scanner than need XP drivers but will work on one of the older computers but not XP

Downloader says no pictures on camera

Depending on the version of software you have the drivers may not have loaded correctly. Try using a USB port on the back of your computer and see if it loads the drivers then. If not you may need to reinstall the software and the downloader. You may need to uninstall the DB CIF Cam depending on the version of software you have. The reason for this is if the camera was connected to the computer before the software was installed then Windows loads the most generic drivers it can find for the camera. From then on if the camera is connected to the computer Windows continues to load those drivers and not the correct drivers. Simply connecting to a different port can correct this or reinstalling all of the software can correct this.

Insalling vivcam 3695

Hi. I had the same problem, unable to load photos to computer using vista. I stumbled on to the exact order of steps that worked. Like everyone else i tried loading drivers from the original cd and downloading from vivitar but it didnt work. Then after re-reading the manual for the 45th time i noticed something different. This is what i did that worked. 1: Turned the control knob to playback. 2: THEN turned the camera on. 3: Plugged in the usb cable. 4: Then a menu came up on the camera display that had never appeared before; "mass storage device/pc cam" 5: I toggled to "mass storage device" and pressed select on the camera. 6: Immediately my computer recognized the device and a window came up that said"loading (or locating) software" 7: After just a moment the import menu came up asking if i wanted to import photos, I clicked import and they uploded just like that! Tried it three times it has worked each time. ......I dont know if trying to load drivers first made a difference or not..... Remember to use the disconnect device icon in the bottom tray. Post back if this works for you. Good luck!

XTV2.0 software says "Please install the XTV2.0 Hardware Device"

Windows is installing the wrong driver. If the driver is loaded in the Device manager list ( /Sound, Video and Game Controllers ) as USB2821 then the wrong driver is loaded. It should be loaded under Imaging devices as XTV2.0. If this is the case right click on the USB2821 device and reload the driver again from the CD under "XTV20\Driver\Manual and select "EMVIDEO.INF" or from from a different location`until the correct driver is loaded. It won't work until the driver XTV20 is loaded under (Imaging Devices).
