Hi..my uncle gave me a Laars Lit 2 pool/spa heater...i can't find a model number on it to find out how big of a pool it will heat can you help me?

look inside on panel directions if not turn to pilot setting hold down button light under where small silver line goes under while holding down button when lit keep holding for about a minute then turn to on should stay lit if wont stay lit need new pilot generator

How do I test a honeywell TS8205A controller form my Laars 2 lite spa heater?


Try downloading this doc. Be sure you follow the right model number some are a "T" and some are "TS".

Pool heater will not stay lit


Problem with the thermocoupler its not producing a minivolt of 250 plus that is needed to open the main gas valve

Do you replace the thermopile or check the milivolts?
Check the Pressure gas
You need replace all of them terminals and check again the milivolts at the gas valve

Old pool/spa heater


Most parts are not avalible. $3600 is a good investment on a house you are selling. If the pool/spa is in good shape the heater would be a plus and a tax break. We bought our house because of all new appliances.
