Question about Craftsman 25cc Gas Line Trimmer
This would have to be done by turning the High and Low speed jet screws which are unique in that they are round and have splined heads on them. A special tool is availabe to turn these 2 jets or you can make a homemade tool to do the same job. The screws were preset by the carb manufacturer. Aluminun tubing or even 1/4" brake tubing tapped on the jet heads or 22 Gauge female spade terminal disconnects stuck on the end of a screwdriver blade can be used to turn these odd headed jets. A jewlelers tiny needlenose pliars will work also. The factory preset for these screws is important to note and is approximately 1 1/2 (one and one half) turns out from snug...not tight.
