Question about Car Audio & Video

1 Answer

I just bought and iwave fm transmitter. The problem is that there are no instructions with t. I get the gist of it. What I want to know is what the M1, M2, and M3 mean? Also a satellite shows up at times. Also want to know if there's a way to change the temp reading from Celsius to Fahrenheit?

M1 m2 and m3 are presets you go to the radio station that works best for you and you hold one of them down and when you turn it on and its not on that station you press the one you set it to and it goes to the statation you have it set to...but it gets erased when no batteres are in it and it gets unplugged...but if anyone knows a link for instructions it would be nice

I bought the iwave car charger and there are no instructions in it. it says it will charge my ipod while i can listen to it at the same time. i knwo you just plug it in to your car and your ipod too but...

You may have to tune your radio into a special frequency. Some of these units simply transmit a FM Signal so they can be used in any car with a FM Radio. Plug it all in, pick your fav song and play, then Auto-Tune the Radio in your car untill you hear your song!!

I JUST BOUGHT A iwave fm transmitter. UNFORTUNATELY I THREW AWAY THE INSTRUCTIONS, MY CAR STEREO PLAYS MP3 FILES,BUT DONOT HAVE A USB PORT, DO I NEED A STEREO THAT HAS A USB PORT, TO USE THIS TRANSMITTER

You don't need a usb port for mp3 playback, simply burn some mp3 files to a cd - not like an audio cd but a data cd (drag and, drop and burn the same way you would burn pitures to a disk) you will find that you can fit 5-10 whole albums on one disk.
Enjoy & good luck.

I bought an iWave FM transmitter and it says to select the frequency 87.5 on my radio but I could not find this radio station it starts with 87.7 and could not make it play my mp3....how can I solve this?

There is no 87.5 on your radio so that frequency won't work -- you have to pick another frequency. Find an open frequency on the radio you want to transmit to. Then use the up/down buttons on the right to tune the iWave to the same frequency. That should do it. If you want to save that frequency on your iWave you press and hold the round button at the center bottom of the unit. The left/right arrow button on either side of the round button can be used to click through your saved frequencies. It's not very complicated, but it baffles me that they include no instructions whatsoever with this unit. Otherwise, it works pretty well.

I was given an iwave & charger for my car but it had no instructions so I don't know what station to put it on

You can select any station you want. On the 'on/off' button on the left side do a short press of that key to get the choice of frequencies. Find a good frequency with no interference (hard to do in a big town with a lot of stations). When you find one you like then press 'set' key and m1 (or m2 or m3) simultaneously to save that frequency. now you should be able to press the m1 key to get that saved frequency back.
