Question about DISH Network ViP 211 DTV Receiver
Hello, my name is Becki Barned, and I'm with Dish Network customer service. The issue that you have here is, the receiver si rebooting. This process can last up to four hours. If it goes on for more than four hours, then you have a power issue. It does help to unplug the receiver for 10 seconds. If your receiver is not connected straight to the wall, go ahead and try to connect it to a power outlet on the wall. If that doesn't work, and if your issue has not already been resolved, blog back and we can help further.

Hello, my name is Matthew Gonzales with DISH Network. I'm sorry about any inconvenience, but the ViP211 is not a DVR receiver. If you have an external hard drive, you can activate the feature on the 211 to allow you to record movies to the external hard drive. It is a one time $40 to activate the external hard drive feature. Also, we can always look at getting a DVR receiver installed to replace the 211. If you have any other questions, feel free to email me at email@example.com.
