turn on ps3 leave on stand by (red light), hold eject button and power button until you hear beeps and a message appears. connect controller and press ps button. system restore screen should appear, select restart system and from there it should restore everything back to normal
Hi, this sounds like a problem with your hard drive booting up. This seems to happen alot with the PS3s. Try taking the hard drive out and putting it in another PS3 and see if it does the same thing. If it does then your hard drive is damaged and needs replaced.
