To make your PC run any faster, there are several hardware requirement to consider i.e the motherboard, CPU, graphic card, ram, interface of the hard drives. The ram alone is not enough yo make your PC go any faster.

There is a misconception that by "adding ram your PC will run faster". The interaction of all the PC's components are all important to make any PCs run at a faster speed. (excluding overclocking tweaking)

Increase RAM to 4 mb for my Sony PCG-252L computer. Went to a another site this morning and they say the machine will support only 2 mb, 1 mb X 2. What is the truth?

I think you mean 4Gb instead of Mb...and you have 2 slots for your RAM...each supports up to 2Gb for a total of up to 4Gb...that's what the x 2 means...'times' or 'by' have to or should, increase both slots with the same amount of RAM at the same will not support 4Gb in only 1 slot...Hope I helped!

I have a white Eee PC 1005/1001 series was wondering if you know how many GB it holds,i was told 1GB if so can i upgrade

This net book shipped with 1 GB of ram, which if it was the windows 7 OS installed should be able to be upgraded. Asus don't say how much ram it will take, however, I would have thought that 2gb would be easily fitted and 4GB is also probable (if you would ever need 4gb for basic applications)

How can i use the 4GB ddr ram? still on 2GB while it has 4GB.. it said that only 2GB usable.

The 2nd 2Gb RAM module may be faulty or not compatible with the other RAM module.
Try inserting one RAM module in the notebook at a time to determine which RAM module is faulty.
If both RAM modules work then make sure both RAM modules are the same make and speed.

depende yan sa RAM ng PC mo kaya ayaw magbukas ng Special Force (SF) gaming. Normally mga 2GB-4GB RAM ang kailangan mo para maiopen yung application na iyan. The thing is check your pc by doing Start button, then right click mo My Computer then click mo Properties. Under sa Computer name, meron label that display the RAM capacity. Suggestion ko is to upgrade your RAM so that makakalaro ka ng SF on your pc.

Intermittent pauses in music - up to 0.5 second then resumes from where it stopped, l300, 4GB ram, Win7

There is a possibility that your music is corrupted, but if multiple items are doing this, then that is most likely not the case.
I am assuming that you play music while working on other applications. There is a possibility that you have way too many applications running so that your processor cannot handle it. If you are plugged in, I suggest turning your power usage up to get a little for processing speed. You may want to close a few unnecessary applications. Also, if you want to get a cheap USB, you can plug it in and choose Speed up my system with Windows Ready Boost when the autoplay opens. This will turn it into a ram increase and you can hope for a speed increase.
I hope this helps and apologize if it does not,
