In general terms, the problem could be a faulty oil pressure switch, or you could actually have low oil pressure. You can verify which issue you have by checking oil pressure with a mechanical gauge or by replacing the switch.
It sounds as if the clearance that the bearings normally run in have been surpassed and need to be replaced. Higher engine revs will supply extra oil which will overcome any small discrepencies but constant running at this stage will result in faster degradation of all engine components concerned resulting in a more expensive repair. Shes basically worn out.
ive had the same issue on a daewoo, there will be a screw by the throtal body you need to tighten up a bit. should make you car rev about 50rpm higher, your throtal body is jamming shut most likely, as far as the engine light gos, do you have oil and everythink at the right level
Probably the engine bearings are getting a little worn. Using 10/40 instead of 10/30 oil will improve idle oil pressure as will replacing the oil pump and cleaning the intake screen. Make sure the idle speed is set correctly.
Sounds like your oil pump is bad - I'd have that checked. You can adjust throttle via the screw on the throttle line (look for the intake and there should be somthing resembling a bicycle cable going to the round throttle body). Tighter = higher idle. Fix the cause as soon as possible as this can destroy your engine quickly.
hi first of all check the temp sensor on the auto box.also check transmission oil cooler that it is not blocked.when the computer for the auto box detects a problem it turns off the over drive.
