SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Resistor no R5A73 is a carbon film 10K ohm 1/4 watt 5% resistor. I would suggest getting the service manual as it will break down the xray protection circuit and make it easier to find the problem. You can get one emailed to you at the following link I am one of there support techs and they provide unlimitted free tech support for anyone that purchases a service manual

Try to unplug set and try it again as if the set was unplugged and then the self check done it will be 1,2 which means NO ERROR detected.

Let me know also what the set does?

Not knowing the model number I would first look for any signs inside the set of Glycol leaking.

These sets (WS or VS or WT models) have 3 tubes with a sealed area of Glycol for cooling the faces of the tubes.

Confirm actual model number and I will tell you what and where to look.
