Question about Compaq Presario M2000 Notebook
Try to connect the Flash drive on to a different USB port. if still the issue persist try to connect the drive on to a diferent computer and see whether it works or not. if it works than the flash drive is fine,
Power on the PC. go to the device manager. Under USB controller check for USB ROOT HUBS . simply uninstall all the USB ROOT HUBS . than do a BIOS UPDATE. Restart the computer. than try to connect the drive. it should work out.
And if the Drive does not works on the other PC than simpl replace the flash drive.

Change the icon of a flash drive or any kind of removable
disk which use to store data, is very easy.
Just try this,
Open Notepad and copy and paste below 2 lines to
Save it as
autorun.inf to your flash drive
Before to click Save as... change Save as type to All Files
Then copy and paste your Icon file to flash
Rename it to logo.ico
Remove your flash drive from the PC and plug
You will see your flash drive with a custom icon
