Try to connect the Flash drive on to a different USB port. if still the issue persist try to connect the drive on to a diferent computer and see whether it works or not. if it works than the flash drive is fine,
Power on the PC. go to the device manager. Under USB controller check for USB ROOT HUBS . simply uninstall all the USB ROOT HUBS . than do a BIOS UPDATE. Restart the computer. than try to connect the drive. it should work out.

And if the Drive does not works on the other PC than simpl replace the flash drive.

I can save to one flash drive, but I can read document. To another flash drive, my laptop cant find it, hence I cant see anything.

Files on a flash drive canbe corrupted if it is not removed from the USB port properly.
Before removing the flash drive click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon andthen click on the flash drive you want to remove and then remove the flashdrive when the computer message says it is Safe to remove.
To restore the flash drive to working order you need to format the flash drive,BUT you will lose the data stored on the flash drive.

My flash drive does not work. No flash drive icon

The most likely solution to this problem is to go to the computer manufacturers website and find the drivers for your flash drive and install them.

After this, your flash drive should work fine.

2GB USB Flash Drive

Hi. Here are the steps:

1. Plug your flash drive into a USB port on your computer.
2. If you use Windows, the flash drive will appear as an icon in the "My Computer" window, with a caption along the lines of "Removable Device" or "Flash Drive". Note: Please wait the first time you plug it in - Windows needs to "discover" the flash drive, and will essentially set itself up to recognize the device so that it's usable. If you use a Mac, the flash drive's icon will appear on your desktop with similar captioning mentioned above.
3. You can double-click on the icon to open the flash drive and see its contents. You can drag files from anywhere into that window, or over the flash drive's icon itself to copy files into it.
