Question about Digital Cameras

Connect digital camera to tv

I have a A805 Fuji digital. I have the cord plugged into the camera. I can find the output socket on the tv, the cable box or the receiver. But nothing happens. I turn on the camera - do I need to set it to something? different to view the pictures?

Fuji FinePix A805 Digital Camera won't recognize SDHC card

The A805 works with SD cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work. You need to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

HI THERE ,, IS THERE ANYWHERE ONLINE I CAN DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE DISC FOR FUJI FINEPIX A805,, I HAVE LOST MY ORIGINAL ONE

You don't need any special software. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what said first, you can use any photo cataloging program, such as iPhoto on Mac or Windows Photo Gallery on Windows or Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

It still seems like a battery problem. We don't have a crystal ball.Give some more information. What batteries do you use? Li-Ion or others?

Fuji Finepix A805 was dropped out of a vehicle and rained on before it was found. It won't turn on now, no response at all. Any ideas?

Possibly had it. Water damage, if it gets a lot in it, is usually terminal. Dropping it wont do a lot of good either. If you intend to have a go at repair then you can email for advice/help. my email address is posted in the tips& tricks section for Fuji under "THE ONLY WAY I KNOW HOW..." Good luck.

Sony DSC-W170

Your Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W170 came with a cord that had a little flat plug on one end and three separate plugs on the other end.  The single plug goes into the bottom of your camera.  The end that has three plugs has

(1) USB
(2) video output
(3) audio output

(2 and 3 are for hooking up to your TV)

If you connect the USB end to your PC and the single, flat plug into your camera, this acts as the USB cable.  There is no USB plug on the camera (for just a USB cord).
