Display is stuck in negative effect how do i fix it

Do a hard reset by pulling the battery (if you have access) if not hold down the power button until it turns off. The negative effect you're seeing is really a backlight that is turned off, probably due to low battery, or it has died completely. If turning it off and turning it back on doesn't fix the issue you may have a dead backlight.

Where can i find the power inverter in hpg62 screen

It miight be the backlight for this unit. It all depends on whether the screen came with the backlight. There is a remote chance that the display circuitry on the motherboard is faulty too. Try to plug a monitor into the VGA port and check to see if it is dim there too.

If the new shop was repairing it with respect to the problem of you having no backlight, take it back to them and show them that it is not working and demand that they repair it correctly. Failing that you should really take it to a mac authorised repair shop i.e. an apple store to get it repaired.

Acer aspirw 5100 brightness

1.The Function key (Fn), and the F6 key are pressed to turn the Backlight off to conserve power.

2.The Fn key and the right side arrow key, are pressed to increase Brightness.

You have a TFT LCD monitor screen. (Thin Film Transistor)
The LCD screen cannot be seen clearly without a Backlight.

The Backlight is a CCFL. Cold Cathode Fluorescent
tube. Resembles a small fluorescent tube used in residential, and commercial lighting.

The Backlight can go bad after time, and weaken.
If so, it will have to be replaced.

Sounds easy, it isn't.

The TFT LCD monitor screen is made up of layers. It's enclosed in a thin metal frame. Resembles a picture frame.

The frame is removed, after removing the LCD screen from the laptop's top cover.

The LCD screen transparent outside layers, are separated partially from the rest of the LCD screen.
The Backlight is removed out of the side.

This gives you an example of removing, and replacing an average Backlight,

Display dark

The backlight is turned off. Slide down the power switch (on side of unit, lower right) and hold it for more than 2 seconds. This should turn the backlight on.

LAPTOP MONITOR LIGHTS IS OFF

If it's under warranty you need to send it in. This is either a bad inverter or a bad backlight. If you can see windows and such, you can attempt to turn up the brightness, but it shouldn't be 'that' dark. I am absolutely positive it's your backlight. The only thing you may be able to do is to open up the laptop and unplug and replugin the inverter. I suggest you let a techie do that. However, if you really want to fix it yourself, just type your laptops model into ebay and search up inverter or backlight, and see what comes up. They shouldn't be more expensive than 40 bucks realistically. LCD's on the other hand are hella expensive. (Which, if you can see the display, like icons and such if you look closely, it is not the LCD which is the problem, just the backlight which typically rests on the bottom of the LCD bezel behind everything) The backlight is obviously important to see stuff that the LCD is producing. Also, one quick note, sometimes you can manually turn off and on your lcd inverter by pressing F1 or F2 while in the desktop while holding down the Fn key.

Hopefully this helps, remember to rate!
Stay spicy and happy lappying :)

Not really that tough. Sounds as though the backlight is shutting down, either from a power supply failure, or a failure of the backlight circuit itself. You can verify this by holding a flashlight to the screen in the area where the menu usually appears to see if it displayed on the LCD panel with no backlight. If you can faintly see the menu displayed, your backlight has shut down and the most likely cause is the backlight inverter board, followed by the power supply and the backlights themselves which are part of the LCD panel. If you found this information answered your questions, please be sure to rate it. Thanks!

Backlight

Hi Em,

You wanted to turn off permanently the backlighting on your IPod Nano? Your player uses that backlighting in order for users to see the display during poor lighting conditions.
If you really wanted to switch it off, you can access the backlighting settings on your player; Select Setting then go to Backlight Timer, Choose the option that suite your need
(Always On, Off, Turn off after a period of time between 2 and 20 seconds) or you can press and hold the Menu button down to toggle the backlight on your player to on or off.

A really dim display like you're describing is most likely a backlight problem.  If your inverter went bad you wouldn't have any display at all.  you need to get your backlight changed.
