You may have to take off the rear or front panel depending on the model. Then you will be able to get to the drum to reattach the baffel. Or if you don't want to remove the panels you can use a good epoxy glue that stands up to heat and simply glue it back from inside the drum. Back that up with short sheet metal screws and make new screw holes for a good fastening. Good luck.

Clothes getting caught in Kenmore dryer

The bearings under the drum may have failed, making the drum drop, so the gap is bigger. Replacing drum or bearings is a lot of work, cheaper to replace the dryer. Or you could make a plastic ring yourself that is thicker to fill the gap....

Hi. I have a Bosch precision wfg 2820 front load washing machine. The drum no longer spins round. The belt is still attached and seems to be ok. Any ideas where to look next? Thanks

You say seems to be ok.....can you hold the belt and turn the drum? Is there more that 3/4" slack in belt when you push it side ways? How old is this machine and have you ever had it serviced?

I am assembling the Wiggles Rock n' Roll drum kit. I have attached the cymbal and foot pedal, but cannot work out how to attach the two tom toms to the bass drum. There doesn't seem to be a logical...

If you look at the plastic sides just near the joins there are holes punched that you need to push out and the screw goes through these and attaches to the large drum at the metal anchor points

98 Ford Escort, Emergency brake doesn't hold car. Rear brakes okay, adjusted cable to 3 clicks. What am I looking for?

If you have rear rotors that look like a rotor mounted on top of a drum brake, you will have an emergency brake inside the drum portion. The rear brake rotors are not flat like the front rotors for this style.

The E brakes have brake shoes and they have "Star" wheels for adjustment just like the regular drum brake. You really need to take off the rear rotors to inspect the inner drum portion. If you do adjust the E brakes without looking at the drum part, chances are the drum is pitted and rusty and you will be lucky to stop once before the E brake linings are ground off.

The other type of E brake works off the Rotor pads. You will see the brake cable attached to a lever on each wheel. There will be an Equalizing cable connecting both rear wheels with an adjustment point joining the main cable. Although the 3 clicks moves the main cable, to have both rear brakes equally tight you need the Equalizing properly adjusted.

Those are the things you need to look for.

Plastic things inside the drum have all come off,

If they have come off, it is because they are worn or broken. You need to fit 3 new ones
They are referred to as drum or clothes lifters, thier purpose being to move the clothes around.
Do not use the washer until you have got them fitted.
They usually slide and click into the slots in the drum.

Whirlpool Duet Sport Washer Banging During Spin Cycle

If the the drum feels loose in any way, there are three possible reasons:
1. The pulley nut has come loose. (easily repairable from the rear)
2. The bearing is bad (part of the rear tub).
3. The spinner has come loose from the basket (what you describe)

In cases 2 and 3, the entire drum/tub assembly will have to be removed, disassembled and repaired/replaced.

Check your owners manual for possible limited warranty. Contact Whirlpool for potential warranty repair concessions for case 3 if not covered under limited warranty.

Unfortunately not. The extended warranty is only offered when you purchase the machine and is an extension of your normal warranty which has obviously expired.
