I have a whirlpool large load dryer that iv had for about 13 years. The dryer is working but not heating up. Can it be repaired

Sounds like the heating element is bad. That's an easy fix. Go to local hardware store and ask if they have a heating element for your style dryer. They should be able to tell you how to install it too. If not take the big panel off the back of the dryer and you will see a muffler looking type thing. Inside of this looks like a stretched spring that's your heating element. Simply remove and replace. Or if your broke like I was I put a wire twist tie bare wire to complete the circuit on the broken element. This a temp fix though had to change

WQP12-9319 E3 Error E3 - Necht Dishwasher

just had a great engieer round who looked at it and sait its the two thermostats on the heating element, took the side off replaced the thermostats and worked straight away. He showd me how the element had got hot in places because something had stoped the sprayer arm rotating and the element dose not sit in the water but relies on falling spray to heat up. He explaned he does 2 or theree of these a month in local schools where spatulas fall through the cuttlery baskes and stop the arm!

Water not getting hot

If the machine is over 5 years old, I would put money on it being the heater element. If you can get the back off the machine, they are actually very easy to change, usually held in place by 2 nuts, and the part will be available on the net or from your local repair shop

The bottom heating element is not working on my thermador prgs/36

one of 3 things may of happed. 1, the element may have burned out. (you will see a blister or burn through on surface of element. 2 the wires that go to the element may have burned off. 3 the power relay board is not sending power to the element. (bad board or fans sail switch NG)All things need to be checked with 220v power off to the range. I would recomend calling a local pro.

I have a hamilton beach brew station, and the coffee won't get hot. Any suggestion?

There is a Thermal Protector Fuse at one end of the brewing element that overheats and is designed to fail(Either at 128C, 140C, or 228C).

It is likely that one of these is the culprit.

Some coffee makers have 2 different ones. The part costs about $1.70 at a local electronics supply or online. Taking apart the coffee maker is a chore, but can be done if patient. The fuse must be soldered back in place carefully. Getting it too hot will ruin the new one. If you have no technical background, I wouldn't suggest trying to fix it yourself.

If the coffee maker is less than 2 years old, you can call Hamilton Beach and they will give you instructions on how to RMA your coffee maker. You need to give them the code # on the bottom of the unit. They will request that you cut off just the plug and send it to them with a check for return shipping costs.

Need service for Malber 1000 heating element..

Hi. Mike here. I repair Malbers in the Washington D.C. area. The most likely problem is not the heating element, but the hi-temp (or "brown") thermostat. They cost about $25 and are very simple to install. A "Torx 1.5" screwdriver (asterisk tip) removes two screws, in back, holding top on. Lift off top, and (from the front) see silver-foil-wrapped heating assy. At lower right will be a small philips screw holding a thin wire "hasp" which holds the thermostat in place. Remove screw and hasp (without dropping in machine!), unplug two "quiik-connect" lugs (orange & red wires) and pull out thermostat to the right. New one slips right back in. Replace wires, hasp, phillips screw and top -and you're done! This is 90% sure to fix. The heating element is only about 5% likely.
One last thing ... when re-inserting new thermostat, you'll have to "wrestle" with it a bit, as the tip needs to slip into a tiny (hard to "find") hole. Keep trying, and eventually it'll fit ALL the way in, so the hasp can hold it. To purchase part, call Joel (at Malber): 800-600-8913
Oh yeah, one MORE last thing... That red wire may be burnt a little, or completely burnt in two. Radio Shack and Home Depot sell "crimp-on" lugs (1/4") like these (female). Trim back the wire, crimp a new lug on the end, and push it back onto lower terminal on thermostat. If wire is too short, of course, add a few inches of 16 guage "stranded" (lamp cord). The same stores also sell tubular "crimp-on" wire-connectors (little blue tubes) to join the old and new wires. May God bless.

if its no heat there only 2 items it can be heater element or the thermostats u could test the element by replacing the plugged in wires with wires that hasve a plug on place the wires into right places turn the plug on and if the element works it will start to glow turn it off as soon as u see it glowing from the inside of the washer also u can check the thermostats by dropping them into hot water and u should hear them pop
