1986 intruder 700cc 8 thousand miles. both

1986 intruder 700cc 8 thousand miles. both carburators have been thoroughly cleaned out with new jets and gaskets. Cleaning approximately 6 months and 500 miles ago. The bike has recently been to a mechanic who " synced the carbs. " on cold starting and occasionaly when fully warmed the front cylinder cuts out ( raw gas from pipe ) good ignition spark. We took apart the carbs and performed another cleaning and inspection reassembled now fuel leaks heavily from the overflow tube. Dissasemble and reassemble and cant figure out why its leaking. Please help me !

I just bought a 1986 suzuki intruder 700cc. Sometimes it kills the battery and have to jump it. I only start it once a week right now.Going to change the spark plugs. Is there a way i should start it?

Have your battery load tested if it's good check your grounds and check charging system

The ski has good compression and spark but after it starts it diers shortly after and the carb fills with fuel and floods it and then it doesnt start untill it dries out do you know what could be yhe...

Your carburator bowl float is stuck in open position, or it is sticking allowing the gas to flood the engine.
Remove the carburator boal and try to clean or replace the carburator bowl float.

Sounds like you have a clogged pilot jet in the front carburator. Have the dealer remove the pilot jet and clean it. They can also adjust the pilot fuel mixture and synchronize the carburators to make it run properly. If they can not do that, you should find another shop.

1400 suzuki intruder electrical failure

The clutch safety switch on the handle bars might be bad. I changed mine when I had this problem and had no problems after this. Hope this helps.

What kind of bike and has any work or aftermarket accessories recently been done? If not, check your air filter and clean thoroughly if needed. Look for abstruction in airbox and passages to carburator. has the carburator been adjusted in any way? If not the problem is most likely a lack of air rather than excessive fuel

I need a 22R aisan carburator diagram so I can rebuild my carburator.

purchase the carburetor rebuild kit for your carburetor and it should have instructions in the box to aid you in rebuilding it . Remember , to do it correctly you must get an acid wash tank to submerge the entire carburetor body into before you install the new parts . And be sure to clean it thoroughly after you remove it from the acid dip tank .

Intruder carbs are notorious for this issue. What you have going on is that the needle seat has become worn out. The problem is, that this carb was designed with pressed in needle seats that cannot be removed. You will need to search online for an intruder carb rebuilder that can press in the seats for you, as well as change the seals, replace the needle, check the diapragm and jets, and replace/clean the floats. OR, you can try to find new carbs online from a wrecked or used Intruder 1500 VL.

About how much is a 1986 toyota pickup 4x4 worth

Depends on milage, and condition. I got an '89 short box, regular cab, 4 cylinder with NO rust at all, but over 200,000 miles. I paid just over three thousand, as the odometer read that it had 84,000 miles on it. So I got a raw deal there, but the truck is clean, so I rebuilt the entire drive line, engine, transmission, rear end, transfercase, and on. Now I have a rust free solid good running truck for under seven thousand, that runs like new. But...I do have a lot of time in it.
I love the truck, they are well built, just prone to rust.

clean the carburator and the air cleaner also clean your spark plug or instead replaced it with new one. denso irridium would be the best for it.
