Error: 0x8814ea3a1: Lights and everything are blinking. I jus received this printer from a family member and have not connected it to my computer yet. I am just trying to get it powered up to make sure that everything works. Before this error it would just do the self test then turn itself off.

Have same exact message! Have tried unplugging & disconnecting USB. Have tried resetting factory defaults. Have cleaned printer cartridges. When that didn't work put in new cartridges. Nothing worked.

My l 382 scanner cannot scan but its printing and it has two blinking red lights

Do you mean the Epson L382? If so, are the two lights blinking in an alternating pattern? Then the blinking lights indicate that one of the printer's ink absorbing pads are near or at their end of life. This has nothing to do with the scanner problem. See page 71 of the manual available on the product support page: https://www.epson.eu/en_EU/support/sc/epson-l382/s/s1506 . It's messy to replace the ink absorbing pads; most manufacturers want you to replace the all-in-one if the printer is out of warranty when these pads are full of waste ink.

Scanning requires two-way communication between the computer and the printer. Does the scanner work if you try to launch the scan from the computer? If so, then check if the Epson scan monitor is running and properly set up to respond to a button press on the L382.

If the scanner isn't found, what OS (including update/SP) is installed? The Epson support indicates that this unit has a TWAIN scanner driver; the software is available here: https://www.epson.eu/en_EU/support/sc/epson-l382/s/s1506 . Windows 10 has recently been modified to not work with any TWAIN driver. (Windows 11 also requires a scanner to use a WIA (Windows image acquisition) driver.) A work-around is to use the VueScan software: https://www.hamrick.com/ . The company will let you use the software for free to ensure that it works with your scanner. All scans from the free version will have a watermark added.

For other OS versions, how do you have the printer connected to the computer? If it is connected to a USB hub, try a direct connection. Try a new USB cable and a different USB port. (I inherited a scanner when a family member upgraded before checking if his USB hub was bad.) Make sure that the cable is under 6' (~2m) long. Double-check that you installed the Epson driver. Frequently, the basic driver (installed through Windows Update for example) will only work for the print feature of an all-in-one.

I hope this helps.

(I do use VueScan (free) for basic scans with that inherited scanner. It works well for my purpose since I am not scanning often.)

Epson wf-7520 power light, auto answer light & wi-fi light blink

As far as the wifi is concerned, try getting it connected to your home network. Once it gets connected, go into your network settings and try to get the IP address. If you can obtain that, you should be able to add a network printer using TCP/IP port. Also, see if you can factory reset the printer, and start the setup all over.

Computer says printer is offline. USB connection into HP Laserjet 2600n printer has yellow light blinking? Have reset everything and will still not print.

Printer lights can blink for more than one reason, so the solution can vary. These solutions need not be performed in a specific order, but solutions for the most common issues are presented first.
Blinking lights are often accompanied by an error message on the computer screen, which might help determine the solution.

Cordless Desktop EX110 Mouse isnt working

Computers wont recognise user errors. Just kidding. i had the same issue with mine. After some period of time it will begin to do what i call Freeze Response. Where the computer recognizes it's function is there, but the mouse is considerably frozen. this works for me. If you still have the Cd than unplug your mouse and reinstall it. if you reinstall it with the mouse in, it just fixes software errors.

Or

Turn your pc off, unplug your mouse. Take out the batteries. boot up your pc, wait till everything loads up into windows or MAC, plug in your mouse, put the batteries back in. And wait for it to automatically connect. if it does not hold the connect on mouse and press connect on receiver. You should be on your way hopefully.
