Question about E-Machines Computers & Internet

1 Answer

My computer sporadically moves very slow and sometimes just stops for a while. Often I have to wait up to a couple of minutes to get moving again. Other days everything is normal. I probably have more normal days than otherwise, but when the ''gremlins'' appear, it's most frustrating and time-consuming. I have AT&T's DSL (2nd tier). What gives? This machine has had a history of running fairly smoothly, though it can take quite a while to connect and get to the Yahoo Home Page and from there to my e-mail box. I do NOT have much stored in the memory bank and still have from 85%-90% unused capacity the last time I checked.

Older computers get full of rubbish/malware/running programs and this slows the computer down soooo much. Try follow this little guide http://www.fixya.com/support/r5272277-secure_clean_computers
Adding a little more memory can also work wonders.
Windows xp like at least 512mb, vista and windows 7 like 2gb

My corolla 2000 suddenly stop , have to wait then start again like nothing happen,

There may be something floating around in the fuel tank that blocks the fuel sock. Stopping allows it to move gain so the engine will start again.

1997 Sable Driver Seat Only Moves 2 Inches At A Time

Could be the switch, but it sounds like the motor is going bad. However, I dont know if you tried to lubricating the tracs. Some of these seats are on ball bearings and some on nylon bushings, either way they need to be lubricated once in a great while. Have you tried to help the seat to move by pushing in the direction it is going to see if it speeds up. If so, the seat motor is going out or the tracks are binding up. I hope this helps.

Car shuts off after 3 to 7 miles and after waiting until engine cools will start

You mean it's hot? Don't run it if it is..................that's a sure head gasket blown or worse. If it runs a few minutes and dies,it could be the fuel filter plugging badly.
Sometimes an ignition with the computer chip or whatever in the key will stop sporadically. You need to give more details.Sounds,slowing,backfiring,jerking,etc.? don-ohio

I have a Logitech AnyWhere MX mouse. Great device but... At some moments it is slow, very slow in response, it takes sometimes even up to 5 seconds before the arrow is moving and then blocking again,...

This issue is likely NOT the mouse, but rather your system. Something may be eating up system resources on your computer. Look into that and you should be able to resolve your issue.

Is ur engiene stil running smoothly? When the car stops going forward, does the engiene stop running as well? I suggest u take this car for scanning to ascertain the real problem but this is usualy a computer box problem with this model.

My 2004 audi a4 windscreen wipers move across the windscreen very slowly then stop.they will then start up again and move slowly.sometimes they dont start first time and when they do their is only 1 speed-...

First you must diagnose why windscreen wipers going slow and/or stopping.
In order to find out the cause of wipers stopping you can try follows: 1. Carefully extract the wiper arms from their axles (two pieces). In some cases you need to use an extracting tool. Heed of the windscreen !!! 2. Disassemble the plastic covers from the bottom of the windscreen. 3. With the bonnet up you can start the engine, (transmission in "N" or "P" position and parking brake on). Now you must switch on the control lever of the wipers, and go to the engine compartment. If the wiper motor runs let the wiper motor running for a few minutes and switch off. Go to the step 4. If the wiper motor do not runs you must check first the electrical feeding of the motor. It is necessary to unscrew three bolts of the mechanism and disconnect the electrical coupling (difficult assurance). If the electrical feeding is OK you must replace the motor - steps 5, 6, 7. If not you must check electrical connections, the control switch of wipers and electric cables. 4. Now you must check the two bearings of wiper mechanism with your hand. In the most cases the left bearing is out of order (is very hot). This is the most encounter fault of the wipers running at Audi. 5. For have enough space to manipulation the wiper motor together with their mechanism you must extract the plastic cover of the engine computer box, and extract also the box screws. Then you can move slowly the engine computer box, just for a few milimeters. 6. You must disconnect the electrical coupling of the motor (difficult assurance), unscrew three bolts of the mechanism and extract together with the motor. You must move them slowly between windscreen and engine computer box until the wiper motor go out together with the mechanism. This is the most difficult operation! 7. Now you can repair the bearings, replace entire wiper mechanism or replace the wiper motor. It is not very simply, but it works.
Heed of the windscreen !!!
Refit all in reverse order.
