I have a panasonic DP-C322 printer. Our tech support recently changed on eof the trays to be able to use legal siz paper (it was set up to use 8.5x11). I need to print our weekly bulletin by tomorrow am! I have done this for several weeks now and haver changed non of the settings. The bulletin is duplex, stapled and in a booklet format. When I go to print it is telling me that I am out of paper, but all trays have paper in them! The only difference this week was the tech guy changing the size and now I cant print. HELP!!

Do you want to print on Letter size paper? Or on the new Legal size? I presume that on Letter paper.

Most probably, as (un)luck has it, your printer settings point to the tray that has been changed; now when it requests this tray, and the Letter paper, it's not there (Legal is in it's place).

You did not specify, which application you want to print your report from. As a matter of fact, You did not even specify if you're working on Mac, or a PC with Windows, and which version... So it is quite hard to guide you in changing the default tray in printer settings, not knowing what you are working on...

If you are working with Windows, you can select from the menu File, Print, and then hit the "Properties" button beside the printer name. Then you have to find the option to change the paper source (tray) - the options layour will be specific to your printer, so unless someone here has an identical printer installed, you have to do some exploration yourself to find the proper option.

If you get stuck, please make a screenshot and post it here for further assistance.

Good luck

Thank you-I apologize for not posting all the specifics..forst time poster. I am using publisher, letter size paper on a PC. I figured out a way to make it work by taking a **** of 8.5x11 and placing it in the legal size tray loaded horizontaly. It worked. The other two 8.5x11 trays are set up with vertically loaded paper and since I was printing landscape, it seemed not to be able to use the other trays paper. In fact the computer only gave the option to use 2/3 trays. I think the issue is in the loading and setting of the trays (which I didn't do). I cant change the setting in the computer and have it print otherwise. Does that seem right/possible? I just d/l the manual today to self teach myself how to use this thing. Its a new purchase for the office, but I have relatively little/no tech support. Thus I end up here on a saturday afternoon seeking answers. Thanks again

How to setting E02-02 code panasonic photocopier machine

Hi.

Panasonic Workio DP-1820P error code E02-01 These instructions describe error code E02-01 solution for a Panasonic Workio DP-1520p, DP-1820P copier machine. This should solve your problem; this introduction will help you to troubleshoot some common error messages related to Panasonic Workio DP-1520p, DP-1820P Error Code E2-01, E2-02, E2-03, and E2-04 that you may receive.

Meaning of E02-01 the Error Code:

E02-01 means the Tray 1 cassette lifting motor unit fault. These machines use a lift motor encased in a plastic drive gear casing. Usually something inside the casing breaks, this usually happens in trays that have Ledger or Legal paper installed. The weight of the paper can cause these gear packs to break. Also if the customer loads letter paper in a tray set up for larger paper sizes.

How to fix the error:

Maybe a problem with tray 1 lift motor either you have a bad motor, Pull the paper tray out and see if the paper is lodged behind the tray, Also make sure the white coupling on the rear wall is in one piece. Check that the flag on the back of the tray is still present. Mostly it is broken and sometimes can be repaired, and otherwise, you have to change it, and to open the back cover and reach that (Part no is (DZTY000357 Paper Lift Motor Assembly, lift up drive).

Some of the possible causes:

  • Remove the tray and check for paper behind the tray.
  • Check paper falls back causing the gears to break.
  • Check cassette Lift Motor connector.
  • Replace the Tray 1 lift motor.
  • Check the Mainboard.
Good luck.

How can I get a Panasonic DP-C322 copier/printer to print with full functionality from a MacBook Air running OS 10.6.6? I was able to get it to print by entering the IP address but only using a generic...

I'm assuming you have the PS option and firmware in the copier.

Just checked Panasonic's site.

http://panasonic.net/pcc/support/mfp/dp-c322/ps/download.html#02-4

It appears 10.5 is the highest Panasonic currently supports.
You can try the 10.2-5 drivers.

I need to learn how to scan documents on my dp-c322 copier

I assume that your copier is set up on the network. First you need to install a program called Panasonic Communications Utility on your PC which can be downloaded from www.panasonic.net. After the program has been installed and configured a blue tray will appear on your taskbar close to the time. Double click on the tray and set a name. On the copier press the scan button and scroll down until you see your name. Press start and the scan will begin.

Load paper error message when using legal paper. Paper tray is full and still get message. Loaded feeder tray and got clear paper jam. Yet letter size paper worked in the paper tray.

you have to program the paper size anytime you change the size of paper you use in a lot of panasonic machines. This is done through the
function" feature... go intofunction... general settings...scroll down to key operator mode...the code will be "00000000" (8- 0's) and it will be in one of the first screens up
