Do you want to print on Letter size paper? Or on the new Legal size? I presume that on Letter paper.
Most probably, as (un)luck has it, your printer settings point to the tray that has been changed; now when it requests this tray, and the Letter paper, it's not there (Legal is in it's place).
You did not specify, which application you want to print your report from. As a matter of fact, You did not even specify if you're working on Mac, or a PC with Windows, and which version... So it is quite hard to guide you in changing the default tray in printer settings, not knowing what you are working on...
If you are working with Windows, you can select from the menu File, Print, and then hit the "Properties" button beside the printer name. Then you have to find the option to change the paper source (tray) - the options layour will be specific to your printer, so unless someone here has an identical printer installed, you have to do some exploration yourself to find the proper option.
If you get stuck, please make a screenshot and post it here for further assistance.
Good luck
Thank you-I apologize for not posting all the specifics..forst time poster. I am using publisher, letter size paper on a PC. I figured out a way to make it work by taking a **** of 8.5x11 and placing it in the legal size tray loaded horizontaly. It worked. The other two 8.5x11 trays are set up with vertically loaded paper and since I was printing landscape, it seemed not to be able to use the other trays paper. In fact the computer only gave the option to use 2/3 trays. I think the issue is in the loading and setting of the trays (which I didn't do). I cant change the setting in the computer and have it print otherwise. Does that seem right/possible? I just d/l the manual today to self teach myself how to use this thing. Its a new purchase for the office, but I have relatively little/no tech support. Thus I end up here on a saturday afternoon seeking answers. Thanks again
