Hello ...my name is Dean Bush sr. From dw Bush Contractors inc. .. i have been using scansoft omniform Ver 4.01 for years and like it alot ... i tried to load it on my new computer and an msg said that I need a 16 or 32 bit version ... i tryed to register it on line ..but it kept looking for a land line hook up ... i have a lot of save forms and docs. In my memory ..and would hate to loose them ... is there a way to get my omniform software disk to work ? thanks for any help dean

No printer driver support for omniform 5.0 on windows vista. it works on my xp

OmniForm 5.0 is not Vista compatible. The printer drivers are different in XP and Vista so the patch that let printer drivers run under XP won't help. As far as I can tell, Nuance does not have any upgrades for this software for Vista or Win7.

A very inconvenient workaround exists: install XP on your computer for a dual-boot computer.

I wish that I could be of more help.

OmniForm 5.1 , Database error

OMNIFORM 5.1 IS INOPERATIVE, KEEP RECEIVING PRINT SPOOLER AND KERNEL PRINTER ERROR MESSAGES HAVE TRIED TO REPAIR, AND DELETE AND RELOAD. ALL ATTEMPTS HAVE FAILED. THESE PROGRAMS ARE BEING USED ON WINDOWS VISTA

make sure you're typing the correct serial number
the one with slash inside 0 could be a zero
the ones without could be letter O
call your software provider to assist you in actual serial number.
