The first thing you should do is to check your vent to make sure it is not crimped up or stopped up. check the inside of the house behind the dryer and check the vent on the outside of the house. this is the most common problem. make sure you are not trying to push the dryer up against the wall too far crimping the vent pipe. don't use plastic hose.

if this is not your problem, then you may have a blockage on the inside of the dryer or you may have a fan problem. lastly if all of the above are all ok then you could have a thermostat failure.

My father's 1987 Toyota Cressida won't start when the weather is hot. Otherwise it works.

When I get a problem like that, I usually start with replacing the fuel filter and checking the fuel pump pressure. But most of the time, it ends up being a crack in the plastic coil or distributor cap that is wider when it is hot than when it is cold.

DLG5988S gas dryer takes long time to dry cloths in either mositure sensor mode or timerd mode. I have throughly cleaned the dryer exhaust and internal part of dryer where all electronics and controls are...

How long is the exhaust venting system from the dryer to the outside, where it vents? The dryer is not equipped to push air through any pipe that is too much past 8-10'. Each 90 degree bend in the pipe adds 3-5', so a few feet plus a few 90 degree turns makes it nearly impossible for the dryer to do a good job drying clothes. I own a Tjernlund LB1 dryer boost fan and it works wonderfully - a great solution to drying clothes in a reasonable amount of time with much less wear and tear on my dryer.

Here is another idea - I recently opened up my dryer to fix a problem and found that the interior exhaust pipe - the part that takes the exhaust air out of the dryer, into the vent pipe on the back of the dryer and eventually outside - had become disconnected INSIDE the dryer. The dryer itself was full of lint and the air wasn't getting out of the dryer at all. If you have this problem you'll also have a lint problem, so check this out - it would be an easy thing to fix.

Greetings Les: You don't need a wiring diagram to test your truck. Drive the truck and test everything including blowiing the horn, and turning on the lights. If you find something not working properly let's fix it we are here at FixYa to advise you and help you. You are bought a 1987 truck and there may be a few problems and expect to have to fix them. Les this is not a new truck coming from the factory. Congratulations on a great truck that will probably give you great service and good gas mileage if you take care of it. Good Luck

Weedeater gas edger won't start!!!!!!!!!

yes, there is a spark module, but it's highly unlikely that two would have a bad module - more than likely, it is your gas mix. it must be fresh for the engine to run. the gas we have today will go bad in about a month and a half. if you happen to live in an area that has E85, forget it. small engines will not run very long, if at all on this junk. in some areas, you can get gas without alcohol, but it can only be used for lawn & garden equipment. it's expensive, but your engines will run

The dryer is running but sometimes hot and sometimes cool when it should be hot.

Hi friend , wt u can do is contact the retailer or the dealer. It basically has a trouble in disfunctioning which is otherwise also known as loose connection. U need to get it checked by the technician and if your dryer falls under warranty period u may even get the servivicing done for free or if lucky enough u may also get it replaced. Have a Great Day!!!!!!!

shut off power to dryer. take front off dryer, remove belt from motor and idler pully (if there is one) try turning the motor shaft by hand. if it doesn't turn ,take off back of dryer and remove blower housing and see if anything is blocking the impellers.. if not any of these then you may have to get professional help it may be a bad motor or timer

Bottom face of dryer excessively hot

That is where the fan is located, hot air is drawn from the hearer at the rear of the drum, through the drum then through the fluf filter at the front (inside the front edge) and then down the front panel and to the fan, then via a duct to the rear. So would get warm at this part.

Would check that the external ducting is clear and not kinked, flexible plastic or foil ducts should not be used for these machines ie fixed ducting only.

Clothes not drying

A couple of possibilities to check. First, is the lint trap empty? If so, then the symptoms point to hot air bypassing the drum. Look for broken or misaligned plastic ducting inside the dryer itself. Check the exhaust air for moisture, as that is a better indicator than temperature. Don't forget that towels hold an enormous amount of water, & can be extremely long in drying, especially if not spun enough.
